Look, if you live in the Tri-Cities or just want to know what’s going on in that area, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay for the premium version. But overall, it’s a pretty solid local news app that does the job.

So here's my take on the Tri-City Herald: WA state news app. I've tried out a bunch of local news apps and this one stacks up pretty well. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the coverage is super comprehensive - you get everything from breaking news to sports to opinion pieces. I'd say the best part is the ability to customize the news you see based on your interests. Lets you cut through the fluff and focus on what actually matters to you.
Not gonna lie though, the ads can get a little intrusive at times. And the push notifications sometimes feel a bit excessive. But overall, it's a really solid local news app that I'd recommend, especially if you live in the Tri-Cities area. Beats a lot of the other regional news apps I've used.
