I’ve been using the TRICARE East app for a couple months now. It’s basically a way to manage all your TRICARE health benefits from your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re a TRICARE member and need to keep track of your coverage.
Here’s what you can do – you can view the status of your claims, referrals, and authorizations. There’s also a cool feature where you can view, print, and share your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents. And you can check your eligibility, find network providers, and even make payments straight from the app. It’s got a lot of useful stuff.
Look, if you’re a TRICARE user, you’ll probably find this app really handy. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job of managing your benefits on the go. Worth checking out if you want an easier way to keep track of your TRICARE info.

So here's my take on the TRICARE East app. I've tested a bunch of healthcare apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The ability to view claims, EOBs, and provider info all in one place is super convenient. The UI could use some work, but it gets the job done. Definitely better than having to call the TRICARE hotline every time. Not the most exciting app, but if you're a TRICARE member, it's worth downloading.
