Can you make the window that scrolls up from the bottom larger and take up more of the screen please? It's very difficult to read anything with such a small space, and only two lines of the notes section will show up. Being able to scroll down further is really needed as well. I love the app, but I end up having to go elsewhere for more information after finding a river, lake etc in the app.

And excellent resource for anglers. The price increase is justified by the greater increase of coverage and although it comes at an inconvenient time for me, I will absolutely be resubscribing ASAP. This service is invaluable and the developer is as passionate about getting these resources out there as I am to take advantage of the information!

Google sign in didn't work when I tried it in 2024. I got the app for the second chance in 2025, it works fine on the web but Google login still doesn't work.

Provides all the information I am looking for to evaluate new streams... except where big fish are located...

The app won't even let you create an OnX account. I cant even get past this page to even use it. This is awful and maybe not the app to use.

It does what is described and expected on a basic level. I'm using the free version right now which may be why I have some challenges. State parks and wildlife areas are not named. My biggest challenge is when I'm zoomed into an area and tap onto the river the screen zooms out to the entire watershed so I have to zoom back in again. The upgrade cost seems reasonable for the features offered. The Play Store description indicates there are in app purchases for the upgrade but I don't see it.

When preparing to travel, I enjoy looking up streams that friends have recommended. It helps to also have an idea of parking and stream access before I get there.

still learning the basic functions, but pretty good so far

Good for basic stream locating and generally fun to use for trip planning.

I want to like this. I signed up for pro, and man.... it really sucks that certain features apparently don't exist on the android version of this app.

Good in theory. Looks great, had lots of rivers and streams/creeks listed and gives ratings for them but the app is constantly shutting down. Every time I tap a river or try to move the map, the "app stopped working" warning pops up and prompts to shut down the app but it doesn't shut it down and it goes back to functioning from the home screen for about 20 seconds. If that gets fixed, I'm happy to try again and adjust my rating accordingly.

this app would be so great if it wasn't so buggy maybe iPhone users will have a better experience but for pixel 9 pro it's awful I can't believe I'm paying for this

I just switched to a Samsung galaxy. I will say, this app is wayyyy better on an iPhone. unless I'm not catching where some features are. for example, when I click a stream that has usgs gauges. the app used to tell me flows and everything. can't see that anymore on the Google play version

Trout Routes is recently improved. I did use technical support and my issue was quickly responded to and resolved with an update.

Doesn't include fishing regulations for Oregon. Android and Desktop version don't include saved gages. Works way better on Apple, hopefully they update the Android and Desktop versions soon.

I just retired and have found this app to be a fantastic aid in finding new streams and getting directions to them. It rates the stream and gives rules and regulations. I have fished Iowa streams for 40 years and have found streams I never heard of. I was able to find and get info on wisconsin streams. I'm looking forward to all the doors this app will open as I travel trout fishing. It's an apsolute must have for trout fishing new areas. I love it!

This app used to be extremely helpful in researching new areas, but they're trying to extract every cent they can. they dont provide stream ratings without paying anymore, and the subscription model is for a single state. been using this app for years, but Im uninstalling it. the info isn't worth money. you'll get better recommendations on a reddit post.

Amazing app! A great way to discover new streams. I use it mostly when I travel to other states, and it works great. I recommend upgrading to pro, as it gives the quality and access points of streams. without a doubt a wonderful user friendly app for fly and spin fishermen alike. EDIT: I was fishing in Kentucky around the Fort Knox area, but my trip was cut short because TroutRoutes didn't say it was restricted access.😡 so be sure to check Google maps for restricted areas before planning trip.

was not able to cancel my trial for my 1 year membership. they billed me $70 and overdrafted my account. i wanted to cancel and tried multiple times before i was suppose to get billled. only way is to email support, and they never got back to me. scam.

I was pretty impressed with this app at first, having used it for about a month - online. I just tried to download a map for an area I am visiting where there is no cell coverage - oops, the map download feature doesn't work. When I tell it to download, I get a download fail message every time. Yes, I am online. Doesn't work on 5G or wifi. Really sorry I wasted the money for this.
