Description
Been using Trucker GPS & Maps | CargoTour for a couple months now. It’s basically a navigation app made specifically for big rigs, semis, and other large vehicles. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can plan routes, get real-time traffic updates, and avoid low bridges or other hazards for trucks. And there’s also features like toll estimates, truck-friendly parking spots, and even warnings when you’re speeding. It’s got a ton of useful stuff, though it took me a while to figure some of it out.
Look, if you’re a professional truck driver, you’ll probably really like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you spend a lot of time on the road.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Trucker GPS & Maps | CargoTour. I've tested a bunch of navigation apps and this one's definitely one of the more robust options for truck drivers. The route planning is super detailed, with things like toll estimates and hazard warnings that you don't get in a regular GPS app. In my experience, the maps and traffic data have been pretty accurate too. But I will say the UI is a bit cluttered and not the most intuitive to use, at least at first. Overall though, if you need a dedicated trucking GPS, this is a solid choice.
