Nice. Great for finding truck stops with the cheaper fuel. Knowing if the scales are open is a plus also. Need a Walmart? Check. Several in the area. When I'm on the road, I live by this app. Keep up the good work guys! 1/2/19.. Keep getting this *desired route is not available* message. When I first started using this app, it was the best, but not so much here lately. It works flawlessly on my iPad tho. You guys need to fix the Android app to work just like the Apple version..
Reviews for Trucker Path: Truck GPS & Fuel
← Back to Trucker Path: Truck GPS & FuelOwner/opp, well, now they've got ads to the point where I can't use the app without having an advert in the way... It's become more of a pain in the ass to use this then it would be to just use another app. You're reading my review you have a month to fix the problem and if it's not done I'm deleting you and searching another app for my needs. My knees are not to see your sales pitches endlessly that never go away. when I click exit on an app I don't need another one to pop up and then back to t
Pretty useful app for truckers. The pay version is priced too high and doesn't offer real-time traffic that I know of. Here's a suggestion for upgrades: Instead of just "lots of spots" or "some spots", reporters could leave a comment with exactly how many parking spots are available. Or buttons read FULL,
Just updated the Trucker Path app, and they should have left it alone because now it is worse. Keeps freezing up, and I have to restart it from scratch. When you switch to look at another app or your email, then go back to the trucker path. It goes blank, and you have to start all over. It used to be so easy to use,but now they have added more task to get a route. I give it 2 stars. The old version was 4.5 stars.
This is the best GPS for trucks. I just wish they would simplify and improve how to add/edit a location. Also, it would be better if, after you have driven past a fuel stop or rest stop or whatever location, that it drop off so I don't have to clear a trip and start it again just to see what's ahead. I don't need to see what's behind me. Also, keep the upcoming stops in their proper order. Why, if you click on a stop, does it go to the top even though there are many stops before it?
I can say, overall the app is helpful. However, it seems like the algorithm is not programmed for when you enter work zone. It keeps saying:"Route Recalculating" the entire work zone. And as trucker, I find that a lot and I even missed an exit. In Springfield Ohio because of route recalculating issues. And after that it works most of the time but overheat my device.
Ever since they've updated and upped the price, the app is terrible. No reviews work on any stop. I was subscribed to the $17.99 a year silver membership, and even though I still am those features no longer work. I guess they need more money for their app that works worse than it ever has. I suppose I need to unsubscribe because they're straight up ripping me off at this point. Having air miles makes no sense. They get 2 stars for at least having parking status.
It WAS a great app, until you started trying to "perfect " it. I don't want or need to sign in to give a rating on a location. YOU don't need that level of personal information. And why can't I choose a different app for routing now? Like Garmin etc. I would rather have an open app that can be used with others than be locked out they way facebook operates. Update : it's not improving. The ads are interfering with function. Every choice has an ad pop up. Waste of my time.
One of the most useful tools in my OTR toolbox. I use it to know how parking is looking, if scales are open/closed, if a Walmart allows trucks or not, size or parking lots, number of showers. Almost anything you need to know can be learned with this app if done properly. Their plans to pay are ridiculous. I would never pay for it. Ads can be annoying in the free version.
The one star is as per my experience, I'm not saying it's the worst app or something like that. As per my experience, I downloaded it to find the truck route and what happened as below: 1: Praise location doesn't work. 2: Either it's only for the West Coast or Midwest but can't find the route in New York. 3: It's a paid version. The amount is a bit high, and then it's worth it. 4: Over all experience, inconvenient, never helpful. 5: Search Bar can't even find the address, which is 3 miles away
I don't know what's going on with this app, but at least 90% of the rest areas marked "temporarily closed" have been open all across the country. I also don't need it reading out damn near every road sign I come across. In VA peninsula, it was shouting about railroad crossings ahead every two minutes.. Please change this or at least add a setting that I can turn that off.
BUYER BEWARE: Do not sign up unless you want to be stuck paying. I have attempted to cancel my account several times through "unsubscribing" in the app. Despite multiple efforts to cancel, I am still being charged for an app I don't use. Very easy to sign up to "try," next to impossible to cancel. I can't find a tab or screen to cancel my account, outside of the unsubscribing option. When trying to "unsubscribe," all fields get filled out and submitted; yet nothing changes
It glitches a fair amount and has a lot of ads in newer updates. Used to display fuel prices if you clicked on a truck stop most of the time. Now, it doesn't display any fuel prices at all even if you go into the detailed window. I've never paid for this app because it has never been worth it for anything more than checking fuel prices and finding a truck stop along my route. Now its basically just glorified Google maps for truck stops. Quit making this app worse with every update.
I've been using Smart Truck 2 for a long time and recently switched to trucker path. So far, I'm loving Trucker Path as my main GPS. it's been pretty accurate. one important feature I'd love to see is: being able to set your average speed for more accurate ETA information, and have a toggle for satellite view on the main screen while navigating to quickly switch between satellite and regular map view. I'd also like to see eta and distance info for the the final stop, not just the next stop.
Used to be a great app, but has gotten worse over the years. And the worst part is, there isnt another trucker app that can compete with it. I still use it every day, i cant imagine being a truck driver without it. Still, someone needs to develop an even better app to compete with it. Update: taking away another star because now every time you click/ press on an icon, like a rest area for example, a GIANT ad pops up with the rest area info page. Its OBNOXIOUS. Please STOP making this app worse!
Although I love most of the features on this app, the voice prompts are too loud. I enjoy listening to podcasts, sermons, and soft music while driving. I keep my volume at a level that is comfortable for me (not loud). The voice prompts sound like they are yelling! I have reached out and asked if there is a way for me to lower the volume of the prompts in the app, but someone responded with a suggestion to lower the volume of my device. My device isn't the problem! Please fix this.
After the update has been so hit and miss with this app. sometimes it works, oftentimes it keeps timing out or you have to close the thing and reopen it just for to start functioning right again. I'm going to Google pixel 9xl every time I have to close the app to restart it, lose out on any progress and points. trying to take a picture of an entrance? Oh it timed out when you're trying to take the photo. close it reopen it, oh you can't now. That was an old delivery. can only make a review
It worked fine for a few hours, then it started glitching, freezing and starting to show the arrow in the wrong direction. There is no better navigation app than Hummer yet. I cancelled the subscription because it is not worth the money! When they fix the problem, I will probably open the subscription again, but for now it is not worth it!
Isn't free anymore, I'm just a part time driver, so it's not worth paying for something I'm only going to use 5-6 times a year, if that. It was decent though, although it did lag a few times I noticed, so lucky I caught it, or it would have cost me a good amount of time on my trip. I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the lag, and because I thought it was free, and because they should have a cheaper plan for part time drivers.
The navigation doesn't update fast enough and we found ourselves in a tight downtown area. There is no data for diesel pricing and the locations posted for truck stops weren't always accurate. The best part was the review section that gave information about the parking locations, but that's not worth paying the price.
