Description
Been using Turo — Car rental marketplace for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can rent cars from regular people instead of a big rental company. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do – you browse through all these different cars listed by local hosts, pick one that fits your trip, and then you can just go pick it up. There’s also a bunch of filters to help you find the perfect car. And you can message the host if you have any questions before renting. Took me a while to figure all that out but it’s pretty useful.
Look, if you’re into renting cars for trips or events, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the prices can be a bit high sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want something different from the typical rental car counter.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Turo — Car rental marketplace. I've tested a bunch of car rental apps and this one's pretty solid. The selection of vehicles is way better than the big rental companies, and I like that you're renting from regular people, not a corporate entity. The app itself is easy to use and I haven't had any major issues with my rentals. But it can get pricey, especially for popular vehicles, and the host communication isn't always the best. Overall though, it's a convenient way to find unique cars for your trips.
