Update May 30, 2019 Tuya Application recognized the plugs in the attempt today. Both plugs are working with the Tuya App. However, integration with Alexa does not work. Alexa cannot find the devices even after authorization. Secondly, why do you need Tuya Smart as well as Smart Home app? Which one is to be used for integration with Alexa? Still sitting on the fence and without Alexa integration, the plugs are not worth having. I can send them back to you for disposal as you wish. Older review from May 29, 2019 Barely a year into use, the plugs stopped working. The new app update in May 2019 cannot connect to the plug and set it up. The app itself is flaky and breaks off with network error 2 feet away from the WiFi router. In comparison, the TP Link software and devices have been very stable. Headed for the landfill I presume?

The app OK, but it needs more. It needs to offer a way to review and change pin codes that have been set either for members or temporarily. It's also somewhat unstable, in that it sometimes takes hours or even days to sync changes to the lock. It also fails to log 100% of the activities and/or doorbell rings. As a rental property owner, this can be problematic. When it's working 100% it's very useful. unfortunately that isn't a 100% of the time.

If you're single and will eventually die surrounded by your cats (probably like this developer) this app is for you! If you're looking for something everyone can enjoy in your household, find a better alternative. We won't be buying any more of these products as you can't connect to multiple devices. 1 star...I hope the cats fill their bellies.

Had a Bluetooth device that was only controllable through this app. When it stopped working, customer service told me I would need to buy a gateway in order to reconnect (even though I didn't need one two days before). On top of this, they seemed to have no understanding of the actual issue I was having, and were rather rude when I said I wasn't going to spend more money on a Bluetooth gateway. I normally just bite my tongue and move on after a bad experience, but there was a lack of effort here

I use the app for CCTV, the app works "ok" most of the time. My issue is that, CCTV is put in place so it can be reviewed if something has happened, Tuya make this extremely difficult. If you need to look for an event over a period of time you have no option but to watch the entire playback at normal speed. Make it possible to select a portion of the footage and allow it to be downloaded in a playable format, you can't even remove the sd card to access it due to strange file formats used.

App is cumbersome and difficult to use. Every time I open the, for example, a notification pop's up saying a device is disconnected and I have to confirm to remove? It's annoying! The schedule's I create do not always work and once a device is connected, I'm limited on what I can actually do unless I pay for another subscription service! Not happening! I already have enough of those and don't want another!

6.0 ruined it. Takes more steps to do than previous version. For an example, I can't just see all my devices at the start. I have to click all devices separately. For reading the temperature on a sensor, I have to open the device whereas before, it showed the temperature at the tile. Inefficient. I also hate the nag to subscribe to their service. Marketing notifications should not be mixed with device notifications. But that was also the case in the old versions.

new to the app and used AI to find a suitable app to integrate some key elements of my home. it's far slower to react and is truly not user friendly. wish I could post the AI chats I had during the setup phase, but they are far too large, and revealing of aspects of my devices and system. Once I find a better one I'm out. Any open AI developers have a far better app for this you can find me I'm sure there has to be things in development far better than this is

this door lock in the application has been nothing but a nightmare for me I have been corresponding with the manufacturer for 3 weeks now and there is no resolution to the issue I'm having in regards to setting temporary personal passwords. the customer service 800 number is not good at all not helpful at all. I encourage all that by the tuya keyless door lock, be buyer beware because you are going to get a percentage of 59 to 60, it's going to fail on you, and I'm extremely disappointed!!!

I have to rate this low enough that someone might see this. The app is great when it works. It connects with Alexa to give me voice command of plugs and lights. But for some obnoxious reason devices disappear. I'm not talking disconnects, I mean REMOVED from the list. Then it becomes a nightmare of resetting and trying to reconnect the device. I have a special 2.4ghz WiFi just for my smart devices and it still can never find things in pairing mode. My bedroom fan has to reconnect once a month!

The app works pretty well to operate smart devices in which it's compatible with however the cloud service for video recording devices is just horrible. It shows many thumbnails of videos it recorded but all the thumbnails play the same video over and over most days. Sometimes it won't fetch the recordings at all. Other times it will record a blip but didn't last long enough to make anything out.

I got 2 litter boxes for my cats and this app is not that good. I can't find a way to change kg to pounds. I don’t see any way to add my cats names to weights. Also not getting any notifications that my cats are using it and they are connected to wifi. Update: After navigating the app more I see it charges to use more features and if I'd have known that, I wouldn't have bought these litter boxes especially for the price I paid for 2. My meowant litter box doesn't charge to use the app.

I am enjoying the app and the lights system. I enjoy setting timers so that I have light when approaching my home in the evening hours. Settings can be confusing, I have a light that pops up after midnight, I don't know how to take that off. If you need light right away and manually turn on your lights, you have to resync them back to the app after. I would prefer a remote control that everyone in the household could use instead of needing my phone.

This app is terrible. I try using it for my peephole camera and somedays it works just fine, others not so much. It does not connect to Alexa as it claims and when it disconnects from WiFi, for storm or other outages it is almost impossible to get it to reconnect. I need the camera for my safety but this app is totally unreliable. I use a memory card for storage, something happened on my porch today and it will not allow me to playback for the officers...what garbage!

Not reliable at all!! Gives you in app settings for clump time and cleaning intervals. You'll set your desired times, hit confirm, and it will automatically default to the apps preset times. Also, I no longer receive updates, nor does it track my cats weight, excretion time, or litterbox usage. How can you call this a smart app if it's not smart at all? It's such a useless app.

Every time this app updates, functionality plummets. On Google Home, everything shows as offline. The Tuya app can't tell if something is off or on, so you have to hit power until it figures it out. I have one light that fully disconnects every other day. I have to manually turn it off and back on to reconnect. Of course this means none of the group settings or timers work. Removing all bulbs in my house from the app and reconnecting them in hopes it works multiple times a year isn't convenient.

The most recent update broke all my automations in Google home. After wasting a lot of time, I finally got it working by giving the light switch administrator privileges, which is ridiculous. I wonder how long it will be before they break it again. No more Tuya products for me... Update: The next day it's not working again. Thankfully I only had these devices in one room. I've had enough of this nonsense - it was a bit flaky even before this - and have switched to a different ecosystem.

I currently have a self cleaning litter box and a 3 way cat feeder connected to their WiFi app! This app will keep you alert and informed! Easy to install and as mentioned, can do multiple tasks! This app separates the feeder and litter box so you can make adjustments at any time! Please note: If you do purchase the 3 way cat feeder, the time is set to military time (just for your info).

I've had these door cameras for about a month now and could never access the cameras unless someone actually rings the doorbell. Also, when I tried to navigate the settings trying to troubleshoot the issue, the basic functions options weren't available. The device will always show that it is only accessible when the doorbell is ringing. Otherwise, the units will always be in Sleep State. I've installed them and uninstalled them several times, trying to troubleshoot the issue to no avail.

I'm genuinely not sure which is worse, the app or the light bulbs. You're controlling light bulbs from your phone, surely that should be simple? Not with these. I have a light with 5 bulbs in, all were initially connected to the app and the wifi. Currently I have one that wont turn on, 3 that do as they please and one that is so bright, its hurting my eyes (and yes, I have tried on several occasions to change the colour, brightness and eventually just to turn it off). Will never buy these again
