Here’s what you can do: you can change channels, adjust the volume, and even open your Roku or Fire TV channels from within the app. There’s also a keyboard so you can easily type stuff on your TV. It’s got a clean, simple design that’s easy to figure out.

Look, if you’ve got a smart TV and you’re constantly misplacing the remote, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on TV Remote Pro. I've tried a bunch of TV remote apps and this one's up there with the best. It's super convenient to just pull out my phone instead of hunting for the remote. The interface is really intuitive and I love being able to quickly open my streaming apps. The only downside is the ads can get a bit much, but paying a few bucks to remove them is worth it in my opinion.
