I have 2 Chromecast with Google Tv devices and with the Android 12 update, the mouse toggle were rendered useless. tvQuickActions came to my rescue and i am getting value for money now not just with mouse cursor but the short cut to other frequently used apps. Keep up the good job guys and ensure prompt support

← Back to tvQuickActions ProMust have TV app If you own Android TV, this app will give you utmost customizations you need. I highly recommend it to buy as it's more than money you are paying for. It's really quick and intuitive to use. If you have any Bluetooth remote, you can easily customise it's buttons and play with many needed customizations with a single buttons given in your remote. You can customize four actions together with a single button of remote. There are awesome features like recents and dock menu.
Bought exclusively for use with my Android TV box (Xiaomi Mi Box S) as the remote was a little lacking with buttons to use. Works a treat, with a little time to get things set up - with USB debug mode enabled and ADB you can remap buttons to do a variety of useful things via single taps, double-tap or by holding - from completely changing its command, showing customisable menus - to accessing powerful automations with macros or other well-developed features (dock, night mode, etc).
Extremly useful. App name to be easy, as TV remote button function changer etc. Advise.. 1) after going to night mode settings option , it is going to colir option, better if cursor default goes to intensity sliding bar, as we use it many times depending on ambient light etc. 2). Screen off is working , but some light is remaining in background. My tv is MI Android tv.
This app packs a lot of function in a small package. I have seen plenty button remappers, mouse cursors, app launchers etc, but this one has all of that and more. I especially love the close one or all recent apps function (similar to the nvidia shield). When I first installed the 3.0 version, there was an issue with the mouse cursor on android 11, but I posted on their telegram and the dev responded quickly & a fix was pushed in < 24hours! Issues? use telegram, you will get help. Great app!
Mostly works. It got its own recent apps which now works on this chinese android TV/monitor box. Ihad to buy pro as the basic didnt offer even a trial run to see if it worked. The ADB option also gets Mute key to work with a remote that dont have it. however theres not option to auto start adb on load only manual restart option you click once you load another Adb over wifi app to start the service first. Its Android 11 cut down?. The mouse optios dont solve it not click arrows in left corner
Really handy app for my shield! ^^ Some requests for it would be to be able to get another overlay menu if you hold the button for a few sec, some kind of sorting and hiding for the dock apps, and also the possibility to change the background color of the overlay menu. Perhaps also if one could change the icons of the menu items aswell But still an awesome app :)
There are several really good button remapping apps, but this one was designed for Android TVs specifically and has some great additional options, such as the pop-up menus, the dock, macros, and more. Tons of customization options, and it even does a good job of informing when/if it loses permissions or if the accessibility service is stopped.
One of the best Remote mapping App. This app provides a quick way to acces mutiple actions which are difficult to access with remote. Media Playback control, BT Menu, Recent Menu, Cursor mode are my favorite of the many bundled features. Once adb method is followed for permissions (process for which is provided in FAQ), it's all set to take your remote on Nitro mode. Would surely recommend. If the App can provide a trial, that would be great to let users know it's use.
update:after emailing dev, app is working better now. not sure if it was the beta update or using adb on top of the accessibility service. my app now starts when i turn on the tv. for some reason, sometimes the launched app is not running after resuming the tv from sleep. i wish tvquickactions had logging to help me troubleshoot
After Android14 update to HakoPRO, power dialog became unresponsive. Installed this app just to workaround with the adb command "/system/bin/svc power shutdown". But discovering that the possibilities with this app are much greater. Thanks!
Took my TCL Google TV from useless (why in the world would physical antenna input get a dedicated button?) and inconvenient (I don't have Netflix, one of only three mapped inputs) to perfect and usable. Other similar apps couldn't map directly to TV inputs but this one can, and the selection panel option when remapping is great for expanding functionality. UI is very intuitive, your app is terrific!
The best alternative to tasker but for android tv. adds functionalities that I use daily such a proper sleep timer for music that I can black/blank (overlay) the tv screen so audio still plays. Turn my tv power off/on when screen wakes with http get when the soundbar isn't detected (Samsung tv bug). ADB commands add to the functionality eg how dim the screen can go with overlay. remote button simulation. More importantly, the dev is active and replies to customers and addresses things promptly.
Can't believe how good it is. Was looking just for the autosleep functionality alone, but what I got blows my mind. Bluetooth, app and wifi managers, mouse emulation, custom menu structures to pack more shortcuts into a single button. Every permission is explained, setup is well described. Absolutely loving it, as it completely revitalized my old Mi Box.
Best and most functional remote control app for tvboxes. This will greatly extend the functionality of your remote control. It will also add commands such as mouse cursor. Every button can be configured for single press, double, long etc.. Or make custom menus. Awesome!!!
Bought it, not bad for the price. Unfortunately a bit more advanced automation is buggy and very tedious. Very annoying bug: modularizing macros doesn't work, meaning calling submacro B from macro A does not result in the same as putting all the steps of A and B in a single macro. Also there is no copy object (macro, trigger, remapping, ...) functionality. I wish one of these issues were improved. Also no direct "action" to set a specific framerate. Only via the panel.
Using on a smart TV. It works well but comes with a bug where a button press sticks and stays pressed for a few seconds, for example when scrolling through using down, it will click through multiple items without stopping for a few seconds. Happens regularly but not often enough to be unusable. It would be perfect if not for this bug.
This app really is incredible, and has made using my remote with my TV so much better. I do have one issue though. Sometimes the QuickAction panels will get "stuck" on screen, and the only way I have found to fix it is to completely shut down my TV. My TV does not have a way to quickly force close an app, so I was wondering if you'd be able to include an option in the app to close it and restart it if possible. Thanks!
The $4 I spent on this app was money well spent. While the developer markets the app as a remote button remapper, it offers much more than that. The app provides a plethora of customization options and tools, including an extra menu, dock, shortcuts, and more. It’s a great app if you want to customize your Android/Google TV.
The best $2 I ever spent. Thanks for making such a feature packed app and selling it at a reasonable price. It took a bit of effort getting things set up and working but it works as a Dock, adds Recent Apps to my Chromecast, allows me to easily kill apps to free up ram, lets me remap buttons, gives me access to all the player controls the Chromecast lacks, and much much more. I wish there was an option to export my settings to Google drive because I'll be using this on all my devices from now on.
