it keeps crashing on me. I can't respond to messages or scroll because the app will just completely close out
Reviews for Twiq - Anonymous Chat
← Back to Twiq - Anonymous ChatOnly trash. edit after dev response: Your app itself looks fine, the trash is the behavior and entitlement of the userbase. Because they do not appear to be moderated = 1 ✨️
I like how there is a potential to really make genuine friends from Twiq for those who are looking for making friends with people from all around the world. The ads sometimes can get annoying though but it's good that it doesn't often occurs. I would like to suggest for the app to have one seperate tab for people you are chatting with from the chat requests that people sent because it would be nice to see it clearer between the two. Are all users verified first? To prevent fake accounts.
It's a slight improvement over whisper. But not by much. It has a mod team but they are slow to act, make a lot of mistakes (I've been banned 3 times because when I report someone they read it wrong). Luckily quick to fix but they are not pleasant to deal with at all. Other wise its the typical anon app. lots of weirdos, the occasional nice person. Be safe out there
The verification process isn't working. Other than that, it seems fine.
the app is fine. Def a pay to play type of situation. wouldnbe better if the app refunded you the coins when someone declines your chat.
Loved the app at first, then you added those coins and codes. God used to it and even started to like the codes a lot. Now after the last update I miss the ability to match with people by swiping left/right, the requests to online users is very expensive while getting coins is difficult. Also, why can't I approve a request of a verified user if they're the one sending the request? That's a loss for both of us. It's a great app anyways, just please stop making it more difficult to use
can't post anything cuz it tells me it doesn't know my location. location is turned on. the "finding people by distance" feature works.
Some sort of memory leak keeps causing the app to freeze and crash anytime you type. It's borderline unusable atm
not a bad app, but for whatever reason it won't let me post pictures publicly, only in private chats. I've long since passed the 5000 karma requirement to post, but every time I try the picture simply disappears before I even try and post it. LET ME SHOW MY DOG TO THE WORLD, HE'S A GOOD BOY!!!
chatted with randoms for 24 hours, made some good friends, got banned (probably for commenting on every post i could and creating fake drama with people) . . 10/10 app can't wait until i'm unbanned i swear i'll behave when unbanned :( (i was 🌌 btw)
the videos I watched never got rewarded fix it and reimburse
The app needs to allow users to identify which country they're in, as I kept getting messages in languages that weren't my own. The app also searches for others nearby, but doesn't let you identify where you are. You're also limited to 10 requests per day. I like the chat code concept, everyone is very polite, it's also easy to block anyone if needed, notifications are helpful, and the app is really easy to use.
honestly not a bad app, you can meet decent people that are fun to chat with and laugh over all it doesn't share any personal information that you don't want, neither your name unless you meet someone and mention your name to them over all im satisfied so far, and there's coins you use them to send a voice message and send someone friend request.
Please take away the option for people to give ratings. The second you mention that you aren't looking to trade nudes, you get blocked and rated with a 1 star.
It's an interesting concept of being anonymous to talk to anyone. A simple interface. Great for those of us with social anxiety and no pressure to talk if you're not interested. Just over unsolicited pictures but that's not the apps fault - I do appreciate the option of having to open the picture. Experience so far is good
Only downloaded it for 30 minutes. Was looking for just some easy text chat but no you want to slam the user with a million ads or have them pay. Ridiculous.
the ads are extremely invasive at this point. message one person and attempt to message another get an ad. plus theres an ad pop up on a like a 5 minute timer as well.
I'd say the app deserves to be rated somewhere between three and four stars. The free interface is okay you do get a chance to interact with people and it's one of the few places where younger and older people all seem to be politely talking to each other. I'm sure there are things that bother people but on balance it seems okay. The only nitpick I have at the moment is if you inadvertently upvote something you cannot change that vote. I bonked into the thing more than once 🙄😒
::update:: reviewing again. I do really enjoy this site. it's neat that it's worldwide, chatting with people I would never had the chance to. my complaint? change the >300 miles setting in the surrounding areas. So many people misunderstand that on a daily basis. and I'm tired of explaing it to everyone. Seems pretty good. Less fakes and lots of traffic.
