Great app overall, but the swipe-down gesture while editing a recipe causing the editing interface to close is extremely easy to trigger on accident. Would be an improvement if the only way to close the editing interface was to tap Save or the back button.

The recipe app I have been waiting for! Easy to use, cleanly pulls recipes from IG. Just learned I can access from laptop...PERFECTO!

I am experiencing issues with adding recipes. The app freezes whenever I attempt to add one using the recipe browser. Additionally, sharing any recipe with the app now results in a 403 error.

Awesome app - found it through Reddit. Love the simple and clean interface, and functionality. I used a few apps of this kind and this one is by far the most pleasant to use. The only thing would be good to have is embedded videos.

I am a software engineer. I have very rarely seen an application that was as thought out and properly engineered as this app. Compliments to the developer. The UI and HMI was very well thought through and the implementation is great. Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for and will happily pay for it!

This app is incredible. I cannot speak highly enough about it. It works amazingly!! My fiancé and I both find it so helpful to organize our recipes, find ideas using tags, and even keep our grocery list going.

I like to cook. I cook often and I like many different recipes. I have not found any app to match this. It is worth the money and had everything you need to digitize your cooking favorites. I have digitized and shared all of our family recipes so that I don't have to run around and look for the recipe I downloaded or find that bookmarked tab I closed or ask my sister what ingredients are needed. One of the best features is that you can share your recipes! all the foodies in my house love it.

Very happy with app! easy to use and import recipes from many websites. Easy to navigate, and cheap enough too. love that you can share your recipes with family members, and share recipes via a URL! i also LOVE that it isnt clogged with ads!!

I would give this app 100 Stars if I could, absolutely amazing. Clean UI, seamless integration with web pages and social media platforms. One small suggestion is I would like the ability to delete the default photos once the recipe has been scraped, but that is not even a big deal. Hats off to the developers on this one.

I was shocked at how much other recipe manager apps charged for the subscription. This app has all the same functionality and is very affordable. best part is being able to share the account with everyone in the house. We can coordinate on recipes for the week and move them between folders once we've made them and like them. only downside is it isn't compatible with my tablet. So maybe only 4.5 stars!

I'm in love with this recipe repository app! It has a clean interface and it's incredibly fast. You have a whole 30 days to try it out before it will ask for money so you can continue adding recipes to it or you can still use it for free with only the recipes you added during your trial period. I'll be paying for it because I like it better than any of the others I've tried and the price is better as well. Seriously, try it. You have nothing to lose and sanity to gain. You need this app!

This is the app I have been waiting for! It's so handy and I'm only using some of the features. The easy recipe import was what sold me. Purchased a lifetime subscription and feel like it was well worth it! Thank you dev for your work on this, it is what I have been hoping for when I downloaded so many other apps. Simple to use with all the complexities to make it a one size fits all recipe app. 5 stars! 5 stars! 5 stars! I wish you could give more.

This is a great app for those looking for a very clean interface. No ads, news, social network nonsense, just your recipes in a clear design. The importing of recipes can be done by typing, entering a web address, or using the browser extension that automatically detects recipes. The app also includes features to run multiple timers simultaneously, and scale up recipe ingredients when you want to make more of something. All in all, a very neat and tidy tool that I love using.

I love this app! It's simple and straightforward. It has what you need and nothing you don't. It works great with most websites, so it's really simple to download new recipes. I've been working on cooking more, and this has really helped me and my family manage meals and grocery lists. I've added my fam to my lifetime subscription (one time $20 - totally worth it). They can add things to the grocery list we share. Then, I can order groceries before I get home at night. Highly recommend!

I never write reviews but I just had to for Umami. THE BEST APP IVE EVER USED!! not only does it have everything I need for baking or cooking, the UI is incredible it's simple and easy to use. I love having the measurements amounts if I want to make double . Being able to rate it / write notes to make my recipes perfect. It so good. Also love that you have an option to skip the subscription and just buy it in all, it makes it just even better being able to add family members.

Adding an edit: I wish I could give this app more than 5 stars! The more I tinker around with it the better I love it! LOVE this app! Easy to use even for a 67 yo! I completely recommend it and have already shared it with friends. But there is one tiny bug. Dear Programmer: When using metric to American conversion can we do a little better than 1 liter is 202.884 teaspoons? I, for one, do not wish to count out 203 teaspoons when it could have said 4 1/4 cups... Just sayin'...

The perfect recipe app doesn't exist...until now! As a pro home cook, I was looking for a solution to move from Evernote, and I went to Google Keep to store my recipes. I even looked a using no code apps to build my own app. Then I found Umami. It does everything I want, Imports from major social platforms, and many different "locked down" sites. This is much harder to do than it looks.

Umami is a great app to collect all of your recipes in one place. You can import from the web, social media posts, PDF docs, etc. It also has built in timers, shopping lists, the ability to share recipes and cookbooks, and much more. It has a more than fair pricing model with the ability to share a single purchase with up to 5 family members. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Really enjoying the app thus far. My only complaint right now is how the ingredients list works. I've found that on some imported and custom lists the recipe scaling function doesn't work. I suspect that's because the app doesn't know how to interpret some item in the list. I think a preferred/alternative method is 3 forms of input: the quantity, measurement, and the ingredient. At the very least, scale what is known and call attention to what the app can't interpret so the user can adjust it.

LOVE THIS APP!!! I was looking for something that I could use to upload the recipes that I say from Facebook so I would have an easier way to use them and this app does exactly that. I've been so happy with it and have made many things for dinner that I saved there already. it's very user-friendly and even if the recipe doesn't transfer over, it's very easy to copy and paste it to the app. The lifetime membership fee is definitely worth paying for this app.
