So here's my honest take on Universal TV Remote Control. I've tested a bunch of remote apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The setup is super easy, the interface is clean and intuitive, and it's worked flawlessly for me across multiple TVs. The customization options are a nice touch too. The only real downside is the ads, but that's pretty common for free apps. Overall, it's a pretty solid alternative to dealing with losing your physical remote all the time.

Description

Been using Universal TV Remote Control for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your TV without the actual remote. Pretty solid app if you’re into home automation and stuff like that.

Here’s what you do: you just open the app, select your TV brand, and boom – you can change channels, adjust volume, all that. And there’s also a bunch of preset remote layouts for popular TV models, which is pretty cool. And you can even customize the buttons if you want – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re always losing your remote or running out of batteries, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
