I have a vizio smartcast tv and this remote almost never works for it. I always make sure I am connected to the same WiFi but end up having to restart the app several times, and go through the ads a gain, just for it to work. If I need to pause my show it takes me at least 2-3 minutes every time and is super frustrating. 2 stars because I am not sure if this is the same with other TVs.

There's an ad after downloading and starting up the app that claims they need your credit card info to activate the app. They specifically say the won't charge the card that it's used to verify location for regional agreements. Just seconds after I submitted my information, my card was charged 39.99 for some kind of cable services.

Worked decently well, had it for about 5 minutes but the ads were obnoxious. So I checked how much it was to remove ads, there were 2 separate prices one was like 5 bucks and some change just to remove bigger adds and one for either 15 or 9 to remove all the ads. I uninstalled after that, you didn't need to charge more then maybe 5 bucks to remove all ads.

First app out of all that I've tried that actually worked on my LG Smart TV, and it worked flawlessly, instantly and without even using the IR on the phone (meaning any smart phone can use this function). However they don't have Vizio Smart TV control for my other TV or most of the brands yet and when I tried to use the IR I get no options/instructions on how to set it up. It doesn't seem to work

I wish i was told before I clicked that this app WAS NOT FREE and now after reading comments, I find you have to have a phone with an infrared something or other. This is a note 10plus 5g, Samsung's flagship phone for the time being, and doesn't have this obscure feature. Its probably too late to get a refund, but i hope this review will be able to stop as many as possible from getting this paid app that doesn't work at all!!! Don't click on this app! It's not free, and doesnt work!!

Just downloaded this out of boredom. It was super easy to set up and it makes me wonder why all remotes aren't designed like this. I love the interface and I actually use it more than the actual remote the TV came with. I love how it has all my TV apps in one location. I found some apps I had forgotten about. I can't find a negative thing to say. I wonder if there is a way to turn ads off, even if it means paying a small fee. I have a Sony Bravia TV

I have no idea yet. I turned on the TV, with the app for the 1st time, went to make a drink, and came back to a message asking to rate the app. No one wants to hear the results of what people thought in the 1st minute or 2, or like me, haven'teven used it. Please app developers of the world, stop spamming us to rate the app. Timing and foresight will be far more effective anyways. I'm banking in the app being very good though. Need it for a night until stores open for new batteries 😉
