Reviews for Vector Ink: SVG, Illustrator

It was the best Android app..! the new update is amazing and I have started discovering it..most of what I wish in the app already added and more

This is best illustration app on mobile. However, some tools like the scissor and knife tool still need work.

Great mobile vector drawing tool on Android. There is a ton of feature, so sometimes it takes a bit to find what one is looking for, but if one is used desktop vector software like Inkscape, its not too difficult. Monetization is also very fair: Lots of features for free, one time payment for premium. No subscription,no account needed, no ads. I am happy I found this app.

Can see a lot of features, but I cant even locate copy and paste. The UI is a mess now.. after one year coming back to this app

It is very functional app for my Galaxy Z Fold 7. Loving it. Their's tutorials are great help.

"Free version" not a version. Exports and saves add a VI watermark to your files. That means it's not free, it's a demo. Based on that bait and switch alone - I'm not interested.

This app is the best and only great app for creating vector art in playstore. And the updates are great. It's improving great.

I dont know how to move or reset guide lines after put it on the screen, it only can turn it on and off. but the position can't be change. I hope someone can help me 🙏

I am using vector ink for last 1 year and there's no doubt that app is really amazing. But in this update the logo must be the same and there must be background color options or it should be remained white.

THE LATEST UPDATE IS VERSE THAN THE PREVIOUS VERSION. why is the document pixalated, also the pentool was awesome before and now its , idk what to call it worst or useless. This new update in the app forced me to reduced the rating from 3 to -1 cause it is NOT User Friendly at All. Please fix the New Update. it has made my app experience the Worst of the worst. It's a humble Request to fix the glitch or your new User-friendly idea cause it's not at all. Again the previous version was great.

a few bugs here and there and the performance is meh sometimes, but overall pretty solid. wish there was an open source alternative on mobile but this is the best ive found.

Please decrease the size of your watermark on your app as it becomes so much annoying for me to show-off my project. You have improved a lot of features of the app but you have worsened a lot of other aspects as well. It is my humble request to you to resolve this watermark size-related issue as soon as possible. Yours Faithfully Dimple

Dude, unfortunately my master's degree is in Communications... this thing!! These guys who built this are ready to build the next Mars Rover or maybe the MERCURY Rover - one that will survive on Mercury!!! Because this thing is ungodly, I mean UNGODLY Byzantine, I mean UNGODLY!!! It's Rube Goldbergian - I mean there's not even a word to explain it. Kudos for such a complex program, but there's no way the average person can use this.

my rating has gone up and down with this app, but it's back to a 1-star because I just tried to save a project I'd finished, and it deleted the whole thing. Just a blank page. If you can't get that right you should not even be releasing the app, let alone ask for money. get a grip

This app is advertised with fancy AI features but it lacks basic functionality. It takes time for a line to appear even when I just simply flick my finger across the canvas. It seriously struggles to perform on my average end device running Android 14. I've spent more than 100MB to download this and my time to end up without fruition. The cost of a lifetime purchase isn't priced high, but I don't find this app worth it. The UI makes me feel overwhelmed. The Draw tool definitely needs an update..

Looks great and all so far. But when I pressed "back" to get out of the palette menu, it unloaded my project and I had lost all my progress since there is no auto saving (this is a feature that NEEDS to exist.) Also, it is seemingly impossible to add a color from your selected colors to the palette? or even copy a hex code. Which seems like a big oversight.

So far, so good. I haven't started paying for it which will open up a whole new ease. If I don't design too technical it's fine. I can't import pictures now and that probably one of the pay perks. I also have difficulty erasing. Take out my last move works, but that's all. So, for free it works.

Can't even fully test out this app because they want me to either pay for an extra feature or buy the full version to draw with the stylus that came in my Note. That's bogus. I have tried at least half a dozen other free drawing apps and they all have a pen setting built in. This app does seem very sleek and nice to use but I'm not giving you money to use a function that comes with my phone, so I only kept the app for about 5 minutes.

This is an initial review. I have been looking for Android substitute for the magnificent inkscape tool available on Windows, iOS, and Linux. On initial glance and trying a few things I have to conclude that it has all the tools that I want. Paths can be combined via Boolean operations, text can be fit to pass, there are alignment and distribution and copy tools. Given that I don't have a pressure sensitive stylus I can't run those features of the application. I will review again after more use.

I heard good things! Unfortunately I couldn't run the app offline, nor could I run it while (via Netguard) blocking trackers of which there were many in the first startup screen alone (and many more to follow in the following intro/ tutorials splash screens). You can see the Exodus Report to get a sense of what personal data is being collected, transmitted, etc. if you value any of the reasons for avoiding the costs of said trackers collecting and transmitting your data & using CPU & bandwidth.
