Deleting this app! It's a waste of time. There are plenty of apps for freelancers and independent contractors where you can actually get jobs. I don't have time to waste playing these games where I spend my time applying to hundreds of jobs that I continually get notified about a million times a day and not get accepted to a ops even though I more than qualify. These are freelancing shifts not a regular job position it, so it should be this hard!
Reviews for Veryable: Work. Next Day Pay
← Back to Veryable: Work. Next Day PayAt first it was awesome. I would be wary of the fact you don't see any contrary or many faults listed. This is a good app don't get me wrong. There is something about it that isn't to me fully about how well someone works, what skills they have or jobs they complete. I liked the variety when I started then saw changes that to me weren't always indicative of who I am and how I am as a gig worker or worker in general. Take caution. If it seems funny the results you end up with that's your signal.
Update on my review. After a period of time I received an op, worked that op, and according to the app my payout is "in the bank", but I've not received any way of getting my funds out of the bank. No virtual or physical card. And contacting support is a joke. I've still yet to be paid completely and it's been a week since I've worked. And I don't like that there's not a way for us to really market ourselves. As of 04-14-22: EVERYTHING IS CORRECTED & GOOD TO GO. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT APP!
Never receive rewards for July and August and the App suspend you for 7 days if you have to cancel at the last minute for any reason regardless of your prior history. Update: my review still stands. And also the vault account is the worst thing ever. It was better before. And veryable wouldn't use vault if they weren't benefitting from it too so don't give me the "it's for the operators" line.
This app isn't good for helping you get accepted bids. I tried for a year and never got accepted. I did everything on my profile that I could. I had all the skills required as well. I know this because a temp service sent me to an op I had bid on frequently, with no interview, that I worked at for months and was over qualified for. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time and hope for a quick and easy way to get paid. They will cancel you permanently if I try to set up another account too.
Update! They have fixed my issue of not being able to log in. Have done only a couple jobs and they paid within 2 days so it's good quick money. The only issues I have is you have to "bid" on jobs and wait to see if you're accepted. And the second is when on a job assignment and I'm looking for a job for the following week. I set the filter for that time but it doesn't stay saved. Wish it would stay saved so I would only get job notifications for that time.
I've placed several bids, and not 1 has been accepted. It's like if you're new to the app (no points) and want to work you've got to lower the bar (pay rate) which is not high to begin with to get picked! This app isn't dependable for work unless you've been picked before, or live in a area where there little to nobody on the app. I even tried placing multiple bids for multiple consistent days @ the same business & that didn't work either, I'll try 1 more time before I delete it all together.
I'd love to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately the app crashes every time I go to open it. So it's hard to utilize the application platform when that keeps happening. Otherwise I love this App! I've done 2 jobs that I bidded on, which I completed and was paid on time at the end of each day worked. Great way for anyone to make extra money. Please fix so I can continue to bid for more job opportunities!
Complete garbage of an app. I can't even get through the authentication process. All it says is "we encounter in error please try again". It has said that for the last two months. I uninstall and reinstall, along with updated to the most recent version and still no go. Download shiftsmart or gigsmart at least they're helpful with out automated answering.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. All around terrible. From the start I couldn't get any help getting the app to work, then when I finally figured it out and worked a couple shifts , I wasn't paid correctly. You can't ever speak to anyone for help because no one technically works for variable... Don't waste your time there are better apps that actually pay.
Barely any jobs at all. But if you work at least 1 day. You can get a $15 gift from them for using the platform. I used it for an Amazon gift card, they have all types of things, like Starbucks, Chipotle, etc. Next day pay is awesome, and the app is very easy to use. I don't like the charge to take MY money out of their account, though it's only 25 cents to a dollar maximum. UPDATE 3/36/24, there is no work and they suspend accounts because of it, makes no sense. App is weird.
Only a couple job opportunities posted a day and after applying for more then 20 positions, still never received anything. Terrible app. Not only that, when you have issues or concerns they just say they'll email you. The first time was over a week ago and I still never got my issue resolved. The say it's about consistency but people get on here to get money. Not bid for 2 months before they can work a single day. Hundreds of people on here with only about 5 companies looking for help. Waste.
I have been able to complete 2 ops. I bid on them them pretty regularly (although I did take a long holiday break). That being said, I don't understand why I've only been invited to 2 ops?? I'm still trying. I would like to note I have absolutely no problem with my payout. All in all, the platform is pretty easy to navigate and pretty self-explanatory. The only reason for 3 stars is because I have a high rating so can't understand why I'm not getting more job op offers
It's been like 6 months now. I actively place bids on multiple jobs almost daily. I have not been accepted once. Despite being qualified for the most mundane warehouse labor. They periodically send you a message to tell you that your chances are higher if you accept the low ball offers. Low pay and long hours. It's like they only rotate the regulars that they're already familiar with. Adding in the occasional low ball bidders here and there. It's ridiculous.
This app is dumb. You have to bid for shifts and 99% of the time you don't even get the job. I got accepted to one, but I canceled, I was going to be late by 15 minutes due to traffic. So if you cancel within 4hrs your rating goes down and you could get account suspended if you cancel too many times. (Mine is still active). Don't download this dumb app, it's a waste of time. I've wasted 3 days waiting to get accepted for job bids. I think I've submitted over 50+ bids over the course of 3 days!
I've been signed up with this app for quite some time, and it's quite disheartening that I go at least a couple of years without working and come back in need of some supplemental income, and I can't get a gig to save my life! I've reached out to support, and they have very general answers, as though they are scripted... stating that it is up to the employers; however, it should not be that hard when there are multiple gigs on the app needing a plethora of people, yet not one accepts.
I've had good luck with getting work with this app, but they've switched their payment system to a prepaid card thing. It's a complete nightmare to deal with if you need the pay when it comes through. I wish they continued to deposit the money in my bank account until after I received the paycard. If you need the money as soon as you're paid and don't have an expensive phone with NFC, you're not going to be able to do contact less pay with Google Pay. So, you'll either will have to wait 3 to 5 days for the money to transfer to your bank account, or a week for the pay card to come in the mail. So now I'm going to have to deal with paying overdraft fees. Not too happy about that.
Good app for side hustle work. It took a few days for me to schedule my first op. Once you work your first op, you are paid the next day unless your op goes through midnight. You'll be paid in two days... even on weekends in that case. The app provides a bank account and a virtual card to spend funds, and you can request a physical card as well. Ops are set up as a bidding system. You bid your price for any particular op and wait for the employer to accept it.
App is unreliable. It has a number of bugs which prevents worry free use. I can't view my support tickets, It notifies you that the job You're supposed to go to has been "filled", which confused me into thinking that I was swapped out for another Op (which caused an unwarranted suspension). It will also suspend you if you call into the job outside 12 hr window and tell someone you can't make it, even if they say they'll make sure you're not gonna get blocked on the app (which happened anyway).
Good idea, but apparently it is not possible to set your area to not be a 100 mile circle around your address, so because I live 90 miles from a a large city,I exclusively get notifications for jobs that are there because there are none near me. No jobs near me would be fine,I get that apps take time to become popular, but it's getting frustrating seeing a dozen notifications every day for jobs that are a 4 hour drive away and not being able to disable them. I'll try again if fixed.
