The service is pretty good. Takes random screenshots at times. Alerts people when someone is in incognito, because it can't track there. Though, I give it a 4/5 because there are workarounds that don't set off red flags. If someone is playing a game from Steam in fullscreen, then it will only take a picture of the desktop and say, "NvidiaShare.exe." Unfortunately there are other methods to get around it, but otherwise I see it working.

I used this app for a few months. At first it did exactly what it said it would. The rest of those months it either didnt work at all, or would completely lock my phone. Further, in order to cancel your subscription, you have to call them. They offer no method of account cancellation online. Worse still, their number is effectively useless since all of their phone operators are working from home due to the pandemic. Dont use this app. Its basically a scam.

It really helps to know that anything I look at might show up in a report to my accountability partners. It forces me think twice about what I choose to look at and whether it is something I should be looking at. It gives occasional false alarms and asks permission to monitor far too often when I never take away that permission and that can be a problem when it interferes with another programs such as maps. Other than that, it's a great tool to help me out.

I have been a CE user for years and they have only continued to improve. I've never experienced glitches. If there were some, they weren't serious enough that I recall them now. In the past, CE did slow down speed a bit but it was worth the minor inconvenience. Their customer service and tech support is EXCEPTIONAL!! There are no ads etc etc. This is just the best product all around.

This app continues to get better and keep up with changes in technology. I've had CE for over 10 years on my devices and it's been crucial to my purity journey, although obviously it can only work as a piece in a greater pattern of growth and redemption as long as you are willing to live under its limits. The few complaints I have are that it occasionally makes my devices slower or lose connectivity as it attempts to reset its software for unknown reasons.

I've been using CE for about a year now, and on Android it's a bit of a mess. My companion has it on iOS and it works beautifully, but it seems to have been ported over to Android and it conflicts with lots of other programs and has every quirk imaginable. But when it is working, the program does it's job wonderfully, effectively and discretely.

I should not be REQUIRED to enable notifications. I am grateful for this software and what it provides, but it is absolutely absurd to require nuisance notifications that do nothing to improve function. I used to be able to enable them and then turn it off; now, if I turn them off there is a pop-up over everything on my phone until I turn them on, making the phone unusable without it. Very frustrating and needs to change.

I just expect to get what I pay for. My wife continues to get notifications that various accounts aren't actively reporting. This is an ongoing and increasing issue. At the start of our subscription (over 2 yrs) it worked great. This problem has been increasing over time. Unless there is resolve in a timely manner, I will have to go elsewhere with my money.

Okay, so... This app does work to some extent, but is mostly useless. I have struggled for awhile now and have used CE as a web blocker for 3 years. All three of those years I have still been able to open and view porn without any issues at all. The app, in this regards, is where it sucks! In no way does this app stop you from uninstalling it to veiw porn. Getting around the little, "Your accountability partner will be notified" prompt is very easy. Overall, it's just a useless app that costs...

Sadly the app has been going from good to bad over the recent updates... They started using something that they claimed "was not a VPN" however it acts like one on a phone. I can no longer get WiFi in some areas that block VPNs including my work. The other issue is the app blocking which has just completely blocked everything on my phone. I tried to make a call to one of my accountability partners and it even blocked my phone app. I really want this app to work well because it used to. I hope there's a way in the future for these to be fixed.

I believe that screen accountability is a great idea BUT...... One, I was forced into it and it often locks up or won't allow my computer to go on line. Two, I have to unplug my router and my computer. Wait a few minutes and try again. Three, Never had this problem on my high end newer equipment before. I wish they had worked the bugs out first before forcing everyone into this new system of theirs.

It's been a real lifesaver in my nearly decade long pornography addiction. It's not perfect, it's kind of a hassle to deal with and set up (but I get it, don't want an addict to just be able to uninstall it quite so easily), and it will likely make your device run slower. But if you're serious about overcoming your addiction and you would like to finally start working towards regaining control of your life, I really think this could help you. It really helped me (and still does!).

I have used Covenant Eyes for almost five years. It does what I intended it to. Help keep me accountable. Unfortunately, the app keeps connecting and disconnecting to the VPN quickly over and over again. It prevents some websites from loading. Or I can't tell if the payment is just submitted went through. This off-on back and forth disconnects me from the internet for those brief seconds. It happens on both WiFi and data. A bit frustrating. Other than that, it's been helpful.

For the most part it's great. However, after migrating from the apk to the app store version, a notification showd up every hour or two in the notification bar saying "scanning activity for [username]". And there's no option to turn that off in the app, and notifications are required for the app to function, and turning the notifications on "silent" doesn't prevent it either. If anything this notification is a hindrance as it reminds you of your problem, which makes you more likely to relapse.

I love the concept, but it isn't very effective. I am the one who needs the help, and have noticed a lot of slack in the functionality of this app. If it actually took a screenshot every minute, it would be great, but it doesn't. In fact, I have discovered that it doesn't take it at all when I use mobile LTE, even tho it takes screenshots on Wi-Fi. And never offline. You should make it take them all the time despite connectivity, and then upload them to the Ally once the device gets connec5ions.

if the subscription cancels because of lack of payment, can't go back easily. also, limited number of platforms are monitored. no plug-ins for other apps or softwares either. blocks sites that have valuable information for work, rather than softing through content to block questionable content. should have a free option and a separate paid option.

i really hate this app. it does as advertised, so that part is great. but it interferes with my internet signal constantly. when I play my games, they constantly freeze and I lose items I worked hard for in the game. a LOT of the time, I can't even get a game to open. YouTube freezes on me a lot too. Also, I am into fitness and dance. The app will flag a girl wearing pants and a halter top, merely showing her stomach but it won't flag men barely wearing anything.

We have this on phones (Android and Apple), iPad and two laptops (PC and Apple). Works great, I do not experience lags or slowing down as others have mentioned. Sometimes the software will flag innocuous things, but that is the point - to not miss something important you will have to be a little over sensitive. love that we can use this as a tool to help keep our family safe on the internet. we have used this program for ~ 10 years and the updates have definitely made it more functional.

It was working great for several months. Then suddenly, it disabled EVERYTHING, far beyond what was needed... I can't access any websites whatsoever (clean ones). For every one it says; "This site can't be reached. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG". I can't load any of my regular apps that use internet... movie streaming, my workout tracking app, banking, insurance, etc. Deleted the app... everything worked fine again. Redownloaded... it worked for 24 hours then back to destroying my phone.

works for intended purposes but slows devices down to a crawl, at best. Edit for response: I don't have good Internet service where I live, so what little connection I do have, CE takes precedent, and being a VPN, the slow traffic gets slower. my wife's phone is nowhere near as affected, as hers is the only device out of the 3 of us, so it's a pretty solid test when all of our devices are slow but hers. All flagship phones involved.
