An Update is badly needed. Can't log in, app just gets stuck loading at the log-in screen. Closing the app and restarting, and even turning off and restarting phone is not getting past load screen issue. Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. When I signed into my account I disblabled 'use biometrics' which allowed me to get past the log-in screen, so the log-in bug likely has something to do with the biometrics (temporary fix those who have also commented about log in issues)
This program has the potential to be the greatest tools to improve your life aside from a relationship with Jesus. I was skeptical at first but I'm so glad I downloaded it. Just one week in and I am already grateful for the work that has begun. Praise God
it will scan my device but often misses inappropriate content. I haven't been able to log in in months since the loading screen wont terminate when opening the app
This app absolutely sucks. been asked to be an Allie for a brother who needed support and he's been sober for quite some time now. This app he's been paying for keeps confusing normal pictures of his girlfriend for explicit content. (just her face, nothing else!)
Does not work half the time, doesnt take screen shots very often either, maybe every 30 minutes. Screenshots with nudity are clearly not flagged like the app is meant to do.
It's a great app for someone who really wants transformation. Great studies for both users and spouses. Only problem is its too easy to disable or get around it.
This app is helping me on my journey of freedom immensely. The blocking, the screen accountability, the resources, etc. are all there and easily accessible. Please pray for this app and for me if you read this review.
The Victory App has been a wonderful companion in the journey to overcoming pornography, kudos to the developers for the awesome work they've been doing. Recently, I've been unable to access the app, it just keeps loading and loading, yet nothing comes up. I don't know why that happens though. I think the app would be cooler if the screenshot analysis were done more often and if apps that provide access to porn can be restricted or blocked once the analysis detects porn content. Thanks.
Be patient and try reinstalling the app if it is not loading. The most recent update on the Galaxy s23, created a login error. After uninstall/reinstall I am back in business. I appreciate the role the victory app plays in helping my kids and I create healthy boundaries in our lives.
im unable to login from my phone, I open the app and the symbol continues to spin without bringing up the login screen
I've been intentional with what I look at and if someone ever catches something, that can be held accountable. Been good for my walk and urging me to not look anything sensual. I don't even have to pay for the app. 10/10 would highly recommend.
this app doesn't work long enough to be worth it. We've had to reset and reinstall the app way too many times, and it's essentially stopped working completely these last few months. really poor of an app to not work at all for $20 a month.
Covenant Eyes is a total game changer! The combination of accountibilty software and the community of like minded people in the same boat grants the much needed support I never knew I needed.
Only complaint is that, when you message your accountability partner in the app, it won't send the last word of the message unless you use punctuation or add an extra space afterwards. I imagine this issue is easily fixable!
After logging in using the app once or twice, I'm unable to log in. It always says there's some type of error. So I have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it? So I've uninstalled the app like three times and reinstalled it three times. I feel like they have a lot of issues with compatibility with the software and hardware of different phone manufacturers.
ok,my husband is fighting this and decided to have it downloaded. We did all the work and all his videos were blocked. BUT! He could easily uninstall the app from his phone and all the videos popped up. well..if it was a free app then ok. But not ready to pay for something that doesn't work,sorry
FANTASTIC TOOL! This along with Covenant Eyes is a great tool to not just keep yourself from watching porn, but to have mutual accountability on just about everything. Being able to link someone else as a filter buddy really helps keep you honest. There's so much here that is good that I could go on about. But in short: The app works smoothly, has just the right features, and is a great tool to help anyone quit porn. It has definitely helped me, my marriage, and my friendships!
