I’ve been using Villages GPS for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS app designed specifically for getting around The Villages, that big retirement community in Florida. Pretty solid app if you live there or visit often.

Here’s what you can do: there’s turn-by-turn voice navigation to help you find your way around the golf cart trails and roundabouts. It’s got all kinds of useful stuff like listings for country clubs, golf courses, pools, and more. And the Yelp integration is cool – you can find restaurants and shops nearby. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty intuitive overall.

Look, if you spend a lot of time in The Villages, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay the yearly fee. But overall it does the job and makes navigating that place a lot easier.

So here's my honest take on Villages GPS. I've tried a bunch of different navigation apps and this one stands out for being made specifically for The Villages. The turn-by-turn directions are super helpful, and the additional info like golf course listings and Yelp integrations are nice bonuses. It's not the flashiest app out there, but it gets the job done reliably. The only real downside is the ads, but paying the annual fee solves that. Overall, a pretty solid GPS app if you spend a lot of time in The Villages.
