I’ve been using Villages GPS for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS app designed specifically for getting around The Villages, that big retirement community in Florida. Pretty solid app if you live there or visit often.
Here’s what you can do: there’s turn-by-turn voice navigation to help you find your way around the golf cart trails and roundabouts. It’s got all kinds of useful stuff like listings for country clubs, golf courses, pools, and more. And the Yelp integration is cool – you can find restaurants and shops nearby. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty intuitive overall.
Look, if you spend a lot of time in The Villages, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay the yearly fee. But overall it does the job and makes navigating that place a lot easier.
