Been using VINCheckUp for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you detailed vehicle history reports. Pretty solid if you’re into buying or selling used cars.
Here’s what you do: you just plug in the car’s VIN number and it scans all kinds of databases to pull up info like accident history, salvage title, outstanding loans, and more. There’s also a section that shows the car’s full specs which is handy. And the reports are pretty detailed – took me a while to figure out all the different sections but they’re useful.
Look, if you’re in the market for a used car, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the reports can be a bit overwhelming at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially if you want to avoid buying a lemon.

So here's my honest take on VINCheckUp. I've tested a bunch of car history apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The amount of info you get is impressive and way more comprehensive than the free VIN checks you can do. The app is easy to use too, even if the reports can be a bit dense at first. My only real gripe is that it's not the cheapest option out there, but for peace of mind when buying a used car, I'd say it's worth the cost.
