Been using VirtuNum – Virtual Number for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you a second phone number to use for verification codes and stuff. Pretty solid if you’re into online security and privacy.

Here’s what you do: you can get a US or Canadian virtual number to use for signing up for apps, websites, and online accounts. There’s also the option to get a number just for verification codes, which is pretty cool. And you can use it to make calls and send texts too – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into protecting your personal info online, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
