Completely unreliable. They say "It's so convenient. Just pay your bill and communicate with us through our mobile app". They should add, "Just be prepared to go through an app update every time you want to use the damn thing". If Visible Wireless wants to limit its communication with customers to app payments and requests for customer service through chats via the app, they should at least make it reliable. Abysmal.

Just a little extra note, the developers should stop pushing updates out 3-8 times a week, that becomes very annoying when you have to update the app EVERY SINGLE TIME you try to open it...push updates out once a month and I'll stop complaining.
About a month in, and so far I've had a good experience. WiFi calling works perfectly for me, so I'm thinking the other reviewers complaining about WiFi calling have issues with their WiFi, not issues with Visible. Data can be spotty at times, but I knew I'd be deprioritized when I signed up. Well worth the lower cost of service. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update. 18-MONTH UPDATE: Nothing has changed. Service is good. Had to use app to disable 5G, though. 5G never works.
Super slow. Phone calls drop often. Takes many minutes for app to even go past the spinning wheel. I mean many...I'm still waiting. Downloads are slow but are faster on the Wi-Fi. Looking into other companies. however when I get a person on the chat...they have all been good and system speeds up for a short period of time. Also, even tho I am close to 5g it still shows LTE on my phone.
Worst services ever, tried to update my phone for the last year and a half, will not let me purchase a phone outright. Tried 6 different credit cards and then they all get an error. So I talk to tech support for days and hours on end. And all they can come up with is your account is on hold! Some one will email you or call you but they never do. I ask them what that means and they tell me they don't know.nothing ever gets resolved.! Stay far away from this service!!Don't have Instagram,Twitter
I just switched over to visible as it's more affordable for me at this time, and the experience with setting everything up hasn't been so smooth. I had to create a whole new account because the one I originally made was terminated, and I've never even used visible before now. I just made an account when I was close to getting it. I finally got everything resolved, and the app is pretty bad, at least for me, and idk why. It keeps signing me out, and I can't even log in! I've tried 3 times
Good plan, terrible signal. I barely get a strong enough data signal to check emails or shop online and I have to wait for short videos to load before I can watch them. If I didn't like the plan so much I would change carriers in a heartbeat. Customer support has tried to fix my signal problems but with no luck, most of the time I'm on 4G but even that is slower than other carriers.
Been with Visible for 5 years. The app is hit or miss; I often find it easier to just log into the website. ***If you MUST have a customer service number to call, Visible is not for you. But if you're pretty tech savvy, don't require alot of hand-holding, and don't mind using chat for help, Visible is a great carrier. That's how they keep costs low: by not having a call center. Contrary to other reviews, you CAN chat with a real person; you just have to go through their automated chat first.
Visible Wireless used to be my very favorite phone service and I used to love using their app until they, "updated," their current customer service by making it the very worst I've ever had the pleasure to witness! Before updating they were more into taking care of us customers, but unfortunately, that quickly disappeared. I immediately switched to Spectrum Mobile and in my opinion, they're one of the very best. Good riddance Visible!!!
This is the worst app I've ever used. It's buggy, slow and it loops you in menus. It's almost impossible to talk to a live person, no option to even email. Apparently it signed me up for a "free trial" which I never completed. I'm trying to log in and make sure I didn't input and payment info and it continues to loop certain menus and pages. It doesn't even have an icon to view your account. Stay away, it's a major headache.
I love this phone service. it's highly affordable and so far it's network has been dependable. also if you end up needing to chat with a real person the customer service was excellent and informed i was able to resolve my issue. I took the option of porting my phone number from the service I paid 3x as much for and got way less in the way of being able to stream music and games and the process was painless I got the esim and was online before I turned the wifi off. please don't change.
I want Google that was very reliable but was getting kind of pricey forever visible. I had it exactly 2 days. I got text but I couldn't call out. I couldn't receive calls. I don't know what the hell was going on. I switched to mint mobile and I just got my first phone call in 2 days. so far so good. not to mention it was a lot less. Stay away from visible they stink
They have a program for when you're looking for work where they cover your bill for a few months. GREAT service. No complaints honestly. Easy to use, easy to apply for the Connection Protection Program, and easy to adjust my plan as needed. Gotta be a current user of Visible to apply for their program so highly recommend getting it now, not when you need your phone plan covered because it'll be too late.
I like the service, but the app is extremely glitchy and has never gotten better in years of me using it. I have the option to check a box that says to remember me next time, but I'm forced to type out my login every single time I open the app regardless of ticking the box. You have to dig through menus to find the place to pay your bill, it's not on the homepage or the landing page anywhere. and on top of that, because it's so clogged with advertisements, it takes forever to load.
Visible has been incredible, an unmatched combination of price and service. I recommend it to everyone I talk to (no successful referrals yet, though not for lack of trying). The app itself works fine once I sign in, but no matter what I do, I have to sign in every time I open it, and it doesn't accept autofill from the system. Since my password is a long, randomly generated monster, that presents a massive issue. I'd prefer to save the phone space and just use the website.
Great service! I live in a remote area where mobile service isn't so great. I've switched services multiple times in the past 2-3 years. Heard about Visible from a friend and decided to give it a try. Love it!!! $25 a month for unlimited text, calls, and data. Calls are clear, haven't dropped a call yet, texting sends quickly, and data is super fast. No more walking around outside looking for a signal and good riddance to receiving text messages a day late! Thanks Verizon!
The app really needs some work. Especially when trying to sign up, it's really frustrating trying to navigate because it won't let you scroll down to the next input box, which is hidden by the keyboard. And switching my watch over to my new account was EXTREMELY frustrating. The instructions in the app are wrong and kick you out of the signup process.
Switched over to Visible via the app. It said my phone # transfer was successful, but recepients were receiving texts and calls from the trial # and I couldn't receive anything if they used my actual #. The person on the chat could not resolve the issue, then I ended up having no service at all. Someone called the next day. Problem solved, very good customer service. That being said, cell service is good so far, but the app is slow to load and I don't like needing to sign in every time I use it.
App is almost as horrible as the service is, and as for offerings, HA! you are better off going to Metro by T-Mobile. I went directly to the source, and services went from 0 - 1 bars to 4 - 5 bars just by switching. What are you waiting around for these serivves are not going to get better nor will other benefits be offered? If you want slow and unreliable, then you are fine here. But if you want speed and responsiveness with lots of benifits, this is not the service for you.
They would not accept my credit card for payment, contacting customer support got me the answer that there was something wrong with my credit card. There wasn't and isn't, I have done multiple transactions with it in the same timeframe. After that, the servers for the app went down and they deactivated my account. There is no way to contact customer service outside of the app, and there is no way to pay outside of the app. I'm f**ked
