Playback is horrible. And generally when I'd delete messages in the visual voicemail app, they'd still be on the cloud and I'd have to delete them again. Today when I deleted all voicemails in the app, it also removed them from the cloud, which wasn't what I wanted to do. The inconsistency of it all caused me to accidentally delete some important messages. UNINSTALLED. Just hold 1. It's easier and less annoying.

I get various error messages, like ".. having trouble accessing... try again later" " Low memory space. new vmails will not be downloaded. " and when I try to delete messages, "we are having trouble accessing the server..... try again later"
Used to be great. For the past year it says it can't retrieve my voicemail, I don't get notifications, it never has the text. Basically it just sits taking up space on my phone as a dead app. Deleting it and just putting a shortcut contact for my voicemail. If I gotta call anyways why have an app that just sucks up dead space? Seems like everyone is having the same issue and it's not being fixed so bye bye.
I've used this app since I've gotten the service. It always worked great. But recently about a few months ago, it stopped notifying me about new voicemails. When I open the app, it says they're aren't any voicemails at all. I don't know if this is intentional since merging with T-mobile or not. But if that is the case; it would be great to notify your customers.
I have useless you app for yours and it worked great until the last forced update in June /July. Now I keep getting a message that says "we're sorry we're having difficulty fetching a voicemail. You need to open the app and manually refresh your inbox." Refreshing my inbox doesn't work, I haven't had messages on my phone in 5 days, yet people tell me they have left me voice messages. This app needs to be fixed ASAP.
I switched devices from the V30+ to the Vivo XI+. For about 3 weeks the VV didn't work. I went to several MPCs stores, with no resolutions. Called MPCS customer service, they were too quick to get off the phone to offer any help. They were so quick to say because it was not a MPC device, it might not work. But on a chance, I downloaded the T-Mo version of the VV, and it worked like a charm.
It's a good app. Or at least it WAS. I no longer get new voice-mail. I try to refresh but it just wont can't sync.& I can't delete old voice-mail. The last messages im able to access are from last month. Please fix it soon. Ive restarted my phone,updtated my phone,& even turned it off & left it for a whole day. I'll change my review once it's fixed. Because it is a great and convenient app. I can see who left the voice mail and other details.& there's even an option to have them sent as a text
Unusable since recent updates. Just crashes constantly, on top of putting what used to be free features (and are accessibility features, so it's clear how the disabled are being charged to get a usable version of the app) behind a paywall. Even if I were inclined to pay a subscription fee for this app, I couldnt because the thing doesnt work! Used to be such a great app. What a waste.
I would rate it zero stars if I could. Has an extremely limited amount of storage. Then over 90% the time, it refuses to allow you to delete messages. I have to "delete" the same voicemails several times over several days, sometimes over 20 times over the course of a month, in order to get voicemails to delete. Extremely frustrating!! 😡 I don't even want to think about how many voicemails that I've missed on account of running out of space. Also allows blocked numbers to fill up your voicemail.
Sometimes you don't get your voicemail in a timely manner. I went to my appointment for haircut and they told me they left a message asking to reschedule. I didn't get it, double checked and still not listed, then next day it showed up on the list. Today i got a new message that was left 2 weeks ago from a tennis club saying that one spot became open because I was on a wait list. Now it's too late to take the spot. Extremely unreliable.
I have been a Metro PCS customer for many years, and have used Visual Voicemail. it has been fine. Suddenly this week each time I tried to update my voicemails, I kept getting a "cannot connect" message. I knew I had new voicemails, since there were incoming call records. i uninstalled, then reinstalled the app. I was able to update my VMs. But now there is a "new voicemail" notification on my phone. I cannot get rid of it. Even restarted the phone.
Constantly having difficulty receiving or opening voicemail. Currently It says I need to open the app and manually refresh my inbox or dial the voicemail number. It still does not work when I refresh it. When the app works, it is good. Another month and still having problems. I know someone else with same service, same app, same problems. I was going to look at a different app but Metro does not allow third party messages. Worst voicemail I have ever used!!
I hate checking my voicemail, but this makes it a lot less tedious. I appreciate this app. Edit: MetroPCS Voicemail keeps getting worse and worse! The irony is that I looooved this app... when it worked... which it hasn't since April 17th. My phone is updated, I've tried uninstalling, deleted to make room, etc. If you have Metro by T Mobile, you cannot use a 3rd party visual voicemail (with more features) such as YouMail. I wouldn't have even thought to look it up if my messages would sync. :c
Used to work well. Now, it constantly sends an error that it cannot retrieve my voicemail and I could NEVER utilize the feature where you can read the voicemail, rather than listen to it. I've looked for updates but it shows none are available. I've reset my phone thinking it was me and not the program, however, it continues with the same problem even though I do not have a voicemail that needs to be checked. Very annoying.
I'm so sorry this app changed. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way it was. I understand these things happen. I selected to receive visual messages and then it said welcome to premium. Without showing the price. I tried to deselect it. Hopefully that was cancelled. I just think the prices should be displayed first so I can decide if I can fit this in my budget.
Suddenly it's detecting a new sim card. I've had the same sim card for 2 years. To hear messages you have to put the speaker 🔊 on the app otherwise you can't hear a damn thing. It was working fine until some yahoo decided to upgrade it. Now l can't play my messages. I had to reinstall it, only to lose the saved messages l had of my mother who just died of COVID in January. And, it still doesn't work. A big thank you for that Metro PCS!!!
This app is changed and not as helpful as it was. I have seen calls come in, no message. I'll see days no message. Then hear that someone left messages and I didn't them or a date stamped message delivered 3 days late. There used to be a refresh option, to since everything, and missing messages would be added in. I like the metro version better than the T mobile that added itself, and constantly trying to sell upgrades. Going back to Metro, the refresh/sinc no longer there. Frustrating.
Not working properly! I want to say Thank you and I appreciate them/you the Techs for updating all the other issues the app was having. It finally updated so I can listen to my voicemails on visual voicemail and sinks to. The only problem I'm having is the NOTIFICATIONS from visual voicemail, it doesn't notify me when I have a message. It's suppose to show a number on the icon whether I have 1 or 10 messages. It's nowhere in the options, settings or notifications? This needs to be updated for that option, the only way I know I have a message is by constantly checking it all the time. Frustrating, Arrgghh...! Please fix it...
7.29.19 - any updates on this issue?? I've updated the app with the newest release and still unable to access my voicemail. Last sync was June 2. Almost 2 months of no visual voicemail! I keep getting stating an error accessing the server to voicemail. Unacceptable! I've missed many important messages and also have stored messages in this app that are incredibly important. Please fix ASAP. Or at the very least, respond to let me know if you are aware and what's being done to resolve.
Was working just fine, until the update. Now, I'm constantly getting a error message: "We're sorry, we're having difficulty fetching your voicemail. You may need to open the App and manually refresh your inbox, or dial 123 to listen to new voicemail." I tried doing this 3 times; and afterwards, I got the message: "Try again later"... Worthless & Annoying!
