Description
Been using VLC Streamer for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you stream movies and TV shows from your computer to your Android device. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you just set up the helper app on your computer, and then you can browse your local files and network shares right on your phone. There’s also live streaming so you can start watching stuff in just a few seconds. And the support for different resolutions and quality levels is pretty cool – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into watching movies and shows around the house, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – can be a bit finicky to set up at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on VLC Streamer. I've tested a bunch of media streaming apps and this one's pretty solid. The setup is a little more involved than some others, but once you get it working, it's a really convenient way to access your whole movie collection on your phone or tablet. And the streaming quality is great, and I like how you can adjust the resolution. Doesn't eat up too much battery either. The only real downside is that the interface could be a little more intuitive, but you get the hang of it after a bit.
