Been using VN – Video Editor & Maker for a couple months now. It’s basically a free app that lets you edit videos on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: you can trim clips, add transitions, apply filters, and even do cool stuff like speed up or slow down parts of the video. And there’s also a multi-track timeline, which is pretty neat – you can layer different videos, photos, and audio on top of each other. Took me a while to figure that part out, but it’s super useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into making videos for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get kind of annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my honest take on VN - Video Editor & Maker. I've tested a bunch of video editing apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The interface is super intuitive and easy to use, which is important since I'm not a video editing pro. Compared to some other free options, the features here are way more robust. You can do a lot more than just trim clips and add music. The multi-track timeline in particular is a game-changer. That said, the free version does have limitations, like a watermark on your exports. But if you don't mind that, it's a great option.
