Amazing! Wonderful Features! The clarity is crystal, I love that you can add markers to specific parts of your audio, choose what kind of recording you need based on the environment (lecture, meeting, music recording) and that it can record internal audio! I have voicemails from my family members that I can use this to keep them forever. I just got it and am blown away, this is one of the best recorders I've ever used, hands down!

I've used this Voice Recording App now for 7 days and I've decided to just keep it and with the life time pass price I can't beat it, it does the job well for a basic recording tool and I'm sure there will be better add on features in the future as the developer sees what types of groups are using the app for what ex: 1)a student taking notes in lecture, 2)a musician needs a sound board to add to his pre-recorded voice for mixing and producing their own music. It's a great recorder app 5 stars!

First time using, a bit weird at first, because there were options to download more apps, which hopefully I avoided. But on the first recording, besides my voice, everything worked great. Look at the top once you download, for the "continue" type stuff... Do not download extraneous stuff, which may make you hate it. It's kinda sneaky, but they have to make money as well, so no concern, and you may enjoy the extra apps offered. Give it a try!!!

As a songwriter, this is the easiest and most flexible recording tool I've used for catching quick ideas. I love being able to pick up in the middle of a recording even after you've saved the recording and going back and adding more, quickly naming the files as you save them. That's wonderful! Most of my best ideas come while I'm driving in the car and this makes it possible for me to capture them and add any added detail to remember the best parts.

I am a Singer/Song writer and have used this app to write quite a few songs. Like how you can record,then hit the little forward arrow to listen to it, slide it back then correct it or add to it. It makes sense to have it right on your homepage. Ya never know when inspiration will hit ya. I've used it to make myself audio notes as well. But mostly to get down them song ideas. Cause you could forget and lose them.

I had to audio record a meeting for legal purposes. I just downloaded the app with the highest reviews and hoped for the best. I was very concerned during the meeting because there was someone mowing right outside the window, there were a lot of background noises coming from outside the slightly opened door to the room, and the guy talking was soft spoken. I was shocked when I played the recording back! It captured it perfectly and there are NO background sounds. Just crisp and clear voices!!!

I like this app because the sound quality is awesome, very clear and It also picks up on voices at a distance. it freezes up. the only way to get the app to work again is to force stop it and you lose the audio you last recorded. takes too long to get the recording started, it keeps saying it's preparing to record. most the time I have to force stop the app again, by then I lost the moment I needed to record. What's the point? Looking for a better app now.

I like the options it gives me. I choose the type of sound I'm recording and it automatically changes it's settings and records the sounds I want to capture! It leaves out heavy breathing or footstep sounds ..you know the unwanted noise. My recordings are the best they can be. No complicated dials to turn up or down.... It's automatically perfect. I choose the type of sound I want to capture and it does the adjusting so I don't have to. Awesome! I love this app. You won't regret it.

So far this has been a very easy to use app and has recorded zoom mtgs for me since my memory is bad from chemo so I'm able to go back and listen to it and save them as well. It records lengthy time periods as well without ads or bs interrupting the recording. It starts right away, and pausing is easy when needed. Overall, I've had a good experience each time. I've used this a few times so far for phone calls and zooms, and it's very clear and easy to use and to save.

Good recorder. HATE the ad that pops up when opening the app. The "continue to app" is so tiny, it took me almost a minute to see it (wear your glasses if you have them) and lost precious time! I understand bills have to be paid, but can you guys make it more user friendly to close the stupid ads that no one reads anyway?

I swear I dislike this app so damn much! I needed this app to work especially with this being such an important thing in my life right now, but NO this app has to constantly "forcibly stop recording" and then when you think that you've gotten lucky and was able to save the recording but then see that you were sadly mistaken not only once, twice, but three times in a row.... do better... if you can somehow recover my recordings miraculously that would be awesome and I'd gladly change my one star.

You cant insert music in the background, but other than that this app is amazing. It picks up audio very well, and I auditioned with this app! Best of luck to anyone using it, it's a good app and deserves a lot of love. Some might say that it's the copy of voice memos, but it's really just a better app than it. It doesn't beg for premium, it just sets you straight and saves your recordings.

Excellent recorder, has several modes, ads are pretty unobtrusive, and it has good quality even using just the phone mic without picking up much random background noise. I often record voice training homework right next to my air conditioner with my cat having the zoomies and crashing around in the background, and you can hardly hear any of it in the final recording.

ive been using this app for a couple years now and I've has 0 issues with it. Always does exactly what I'm needing. Only thing that would be helpful maybe is adding a timeout feature because sometimes I'll be recording a lecture and then its over and I forget to turn off the recording so it just records silence for X amount of time. So, if it could have a pop up "Are you still there?" or something and shut down after no response pr something that may help. Otherwise entirely satisfied.

I really love this app. the sound quality is amazing. I've tried hundreds of different recording apps and most all of them made some noises sound creepy. (I live at the top of a deep canyon also) I recorded the world around me one morning and the birds that were singing actually sounded live, very vivid when I played it back later that day. You also have the ability to tweak it how you want it. 5 Stars!!

Gotta hand it to you guys, the whole setup is nice. I especially like being able to do an internal recording. For a minute, I was reminded of when we would make a list and record the old cassette mix tape... those were simpler days..... But with this on YouTube, I can have a little fun and adjust the speed of the song and pause to rewind and replay at a point that blends in and extend any thing I feel should get a little more time. Great job, I definitely will be recommending to lots of people.

I'm not allowed to have Spotify, so this came in handy. I think this is very useful. But one question: If you want the best quality sound when recording a song, what is the best microphone mode to use? The Music and Raw sound mode just doesn't cut it. It emphasizes on the, what you call it, cymbal type sounds and anything close to that a little too much, and it kinda distorts the music itself. So, what other type of microphone would be good for recording music?

It keeps recording alongside other apps. I didn't think many recording apps do this, because it took a while to find this one. It also has other recording modes, so that was an interesting plus. I'll keep it! Edit: After using it a few times, I found out that it's not free after a certain number of recordings. Deleting it now and giving 1 star for the huge disappointment and inconvenience.

Best Free Voice Recording App by Simple Design. I tried several and found them difficult to close and you couldn't exit without saving every recording. If something happens while recording you don't want to save it. I will eventually pay the fee to get rid of ads but in the mean time it's doing the job. You can easily select to save, pause, resume, or discard your recordings. You can back them up to Google Drive, select storage path, quality, MP3 format, wav, mp4, sampling rate, bluetooth mic.

I use this app to record song ideas when I'm on the go so I won't forget them and I can go back later and continue piecing them together. I also recently got a new phone and instead of having to rerecord everything I had, all I had to do was log back in and download my previous recordings to my phone which was only a 1-2 minute process. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!
