works for me only issue and not an issue is that it pisses whatever you are playing if you don't start volume boost first. very little distortion even above 60-70. Love it and I use the free version
Reviews for Volume Booster for Android
Actually a decent app. It gives what it promises and works especially well with my headphones. I would recommend this for anyone who wants louder music
I mean it pretty much does exactly what it's supposed to, I just wish it had different toggles for like highs and lows instead of one boost for all. But it does truly work exactly as it says it does.
this is a brilliant app, the volume even when low is loud, just remember to turn it off or your phone will always be loud, my alarm scared the hell of me. 😂
Just download it. Didn't know it was supposed to be paid for when downloading. Need to keep app open and on top of what is being used for it to work. Then there are the ads. LOUD ADS! EVERY 5 MINUTES! Seriously? Good thing I was only walking a treadmill when the first one started and my BF is a medic. Minor injuries from the severe change from classical music to yelling and screaming of an unsolicited ad. Not audio injury, PHYSICAL injury 😡 try making your ads SILENT like 90% of other free aps
too much ad pop up while watching Netflix. also it a monthly subscription and not one time payment to use the app. it works but it too expensive for a volume app.
audio from Spotify stops when you open the app. the video ads it makes you watch when you just want to switch it on or off quickly are ridiculous. for such a simple app, I'll be writing my own ad free version.
It says it's included with playpass but is asking for money. after uninstalling and reinstalling then doing a full memory wipe when that still didn't work on the app. it now shows me as able to use it. never had this happen before with any other app.
Haven't used with headphones but definitely helps increase sounds when watchin movies and listenin to music on my phone. Update 12/06/23.. Love this app. Works great with or without headphones. Have boosted up to 52 when watching movies and up to 44 using music when walking my dogs. Haven't noticed any problems with my headphones or speakers but don't use it over the recommended 40 longer than maybe an hour or so every few days.
Full screen ads with sound. Beware and try a different option. Negative-1 star because the ads on this one have audio which is insane. Developer mentions free trial period which appears to mean that the app won't even work on the free version for long, before forcing you to purchase it. There are free apps out there that just work. Keep looking.
