Reviews for Volume Booster for Android

works for me only issue and not an issue is that it pisses whatever you are playing if you don't start volume boost first. very little distortion even above 60-70. Love it and I use the free version

Actually a decent app. It gives what it promises and works especially well with my headphones. I would recommend this for anyone who wants louder music

I mean it pretty much does exactly what it's supposed to, I just wish it had different toggles for like highs and lows instead of one boost for all. But it does truly work exactly as it says it does.

this is a brilliant app, the volume even when low is loud, just remember to turn it off or your phone will always be loud, my alarm scared the hell of me. 😂

Just download it. Didn't know it was supposed to be paid for when downloading. Need to keep app open and on top of what is being used for it to work. Then there are the ads. LOUD ADS! EVERY 5 MINUTES! Seriously? Good thing I was only walking a treadmill when the first one started and my BF is a medic. Minor injuries from the severe change from classical music to yelling and screaming of an unsolicited ad. Not audio injury, PHYSICAL injury 😡 try making your ads SILENT like 90% of other free aps

too much ad pop up while watching Netflix. also it a monthly subscription and not one time payment to use the app. it works but it too expensive for a volume app.

audio from Spotify stops when you open the app. the video ads it makes you watch when you just want to switch it on or off quickly are ridiculous. for such a simple app, I'll be writing my own ad free version.

It says it's included with playpass but is asking for money. after uninstalling and reinstalling then doing a full memory wipe when that still didn't work on the app. it now shows me as able to use it. never had this happen before with any other app.

Haven't used with headphones but definitely helps increase sounds when watchin movies and listenin to music on my phone. Update 12/06/23.. Love this app. Works great with or without headphones. Have boosted up to 52 when watching movies and up to 44 using music when walking my dogs. Haven't noticed any problems with my headphones or speakers but don't use it over the recommended 40 longer than maybe an hour or so every few days.

Full screen ads with sound. Beware and try a different option. Negative-1 star because the ads on this one have audio which is insane. Developer mentions free trial period which appears to mean that the app won't even work on the free version for long, before forcing you to purchase it. There are free apps out there that just work. Keep looking.

I really wish that I had come across this app sooner. For a volume booster, this is the app that you would want. At full volume on my Bluetooth speaker, it can be heard from 7-8 blocks away and you can hear the music and lyrics crystal clear. No distortion and no feedback. If I could give it a higher rating than 5 stars, I would in a hot second. It's the best volume booster app I've downloaded. Thanks 😊

I hate interruptions to my Youtube Premium, as this app will do when I want to boost the volume further. It pauses the music, takes forever to load an Ad, and it won't finish taking me to the menu. The asking price for the paid version is Way too high, especially when I can just go to somebody else who won't stop my music when I wanna turn it up. Uninstalling.

This is the first volume booster I have found that lasts more than a few weeks. Others I have tried just stop working after a few weeks. I've been using this for at least 6 months. It may disconnect every once in a great while, but all I have to do is retart it. The free version has been awesome for me having Otosclerosis and being on disability I'd never be able to pay for this. The ads are minimal. This app is fast too! Thank you SO MUCH for this app! With it I can hear when HAs charge!!!

Usually, sound booster apps actually turn your phone volume down by default and imitate, boosting the sound by allowing you to turn it back up again. This app is the real deal. My car doesn't have Bluetooth, so when I plug it into the makeshift aux chord, the volume is so low that I can't hear when I'm driving. Thanks to this app, I can not only hear my music, shows, and podcasts now when I'm driving, but I can actually blow my speakers out if I'm not careful 😅

it actually worked and boosts your volume. Before the sound on my phone was hella quiet and made music unenjoyable, but then I got this app, and music is louder and clearer. Plus, it's simple to use. All you gotta do is slide the thingy, and then you have your loudness level. It's a very easy to use, to the point app, and you should definitely get it if you want a better music listening experience.

it works pretty well. But it has what is probably malware. I've seen some suspicious adds. my phone has been slow and acting funny lately. it does increase the volume and bass. some other similar apps didn't do anything to improve audio. when ads pop up in the app. it's usually on the last screen. you need to wait for a second find a tiny x on top. otherwise it will bring you to the Play store. I haven't seen any apps I would want off of here.

No matter what level I have my actual volume set at, the sound is distorted. I had the application set at 50% power before turning on a song. Even a volume level on my phone of around 25% was playing distorted at 50% booster. It's not your volume like they warn. It's the application itself trying to get you to pay for premium service. It also forces you to turn on notifications in order to use it. That's not ethical.

I tried quite a few different things to get my android phone to put out louder music to my car's stereo. It seems that Samsung purposely throttles the audio output to prevent hearing loss amongst users when they are using headphones or earbuds. That creates a bit of an issue if one wants to use an Aux cord, though. It was lowering the maximum output of my music to my car stereo. I can say that this app does increase the volume output, but at the cost of quality.

Opening the app instantly tries to get you to buy the paid version and puts a small little X at the top left hand side of the screen. you go to X it out and immediately you are flashed another game ad and it has no time counter for how long it will be. UNINSTALLED!!!!! IF I COULD HAVE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A SCORE OF MINUS TEN STARS!!!!! ADS FOR ALL GAMES AND APPS ARE GETTING OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does what it says perfectly. Now, just so you know...depending on the quality of your device(s), and their speakers, it can become a bit distorted. I use it on my Bluetooth helmet. I can only boost it to the half way mark before it gets distorted. I also recommend if listening through your cellphone, please turn off any audio enhancements that you have activated.
