So here's my honest take on VolumeLink. I've tested a bunch of volume sync apps and this one's pretty good. It's super simple to use and just works once you get it set up. Compared to other options, the volume tracking is more reliable and responsive. The only downside is the setup can be a pain if your TV model isn't on the supported list. But overall, it's a solid solution that I'd recommend if you need to sync your TV and Sonos.

Description

Been using VolumeLink for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that connects your Android TV and Sonos PlayBar so the volume controls work together. Pretty solid if you’ve got that setup.

Here’s what you do: you can adjust the TV volume and it’ll automatically change the Sonos volume. There’s also a bunch of TV models it’s confirmed to work with, which is nice. And you can customize the volume sync settings – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’ve got a Sonos and an Android TV, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit finicky – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
