Frustrating app! No way to unclip deals, the system uses the worst deal so you never end up actually saving money! That's if the system registers the deal at all, which it often won't. Poorly trained employees don't understand how app deals work, or how to correct an unregistered deal in their system. It isn't worth the time wasted to clip deals when I clip $2.99 for a pack of water one day and it's $1.99 the next, but I'm only given the $2.99 deal. Or no deal at all!! Goodbye Vons!

Edit May 12, 2021: The previous 4.5 star review is no longer deserved. They've earned a 1 star, & that's generous. They fixed something that wasn't broken. I have yet to come across any employee or customer that likes, understands, or is comfortable with the new app. It's an entirely different app, but call it an update if you want. #FAIL #TOTALDISCONNECT ~~~~~~~ 4.5 stars due to some inconsistencies, rounded up because overall, it's a fantastic app, "my brand" when it comes to grocery stores.

Easy to use, can look for personalized deals while I'm in the store and send to my account before checkout in person Update 10/21 I haven't been able to sign in for a couple of days and had to miss out on some deals. Whatever you did to the app, I can't even use it! I went on desktop to clip my coupons but then I can't see my coupons that I clipped, on top of the fact that I can no longer check them in the app while in-store. Fix the bug!!!

Disappointed! Finally decided to try out the pick-up ordering through the app. Pick up was 3 hours from when i ordered. My order was canceled 10 minutes from pick up time, i was already parked out front. I called the number on sign at pick up parking and was told my order was canceled due to staffing shortage. Im glad vons is getting with the times but they are still behind walmart in innovation. I will not be trying vons online order again.

Normally this works fine, but today when I try to log into the app to take advantage of the now digital coupons, the App can't log me in. They're having technical difficulties. All day. So there's no way to log in, there's no way to use the digital coupons that I have to download in order to take advantage of the discounts that I always use. So this makes me not want to go to Vons because I can't take advantage of whatever discounts are offered.

New app is HORRIBLE. The default should be "shop in store," not delivery.I'll never use a delivery or pickup service, yet items are placed in cart when they should only be on a list. It's difficult to find the "4 U" deal tab. I don't need a 2FA sign-in, and find it quite annoying. The item icons for clipping deals are too large, meaning it's necessary to scroll and/or swipe more just to see them all. I've been reading reviews on this new and NOT improved app, and see that many agree with me.

The new app is not as good as the old app. I wish they would never change the app. Harder to fine what you want on the websites. You can still get item that show you the aisle number to locate where the item is. You don't have to go all over the store looking for your items. I just wish the store prices would matches the prices from the apps. But it does not always calculate the items correctly at check out otherwise I'd give you 5. Great coupons. Sales not as good as before.

So frustrating - slow, nonresponse, terrible. I HATE this app. I would like to be able to use it to make a shopping list but it takes way too long to open, load shopping options, find coupons, literally do anything. And the worst part is that even if you are a rewards member and enter your phone number at checkout, if you haven't logged into the app and ticked off that coupon, it won't be applied when you checkout. Which is a NIGHTMARE because the app is so terrible.

I love Vons & the Von's app. However I gave it 3 stars because some things are difficult to find /use. No clear instructions. I would like the list to have the small boxes, where I'm able to just check off the items I need. Also, more clear instructions about the the rewards that are free. I really hope they fix those things in the app. Happy Holidays!

There's a problem with on some items when you press the add button it says coupon no longer available when it clearly states experation on coupon 10-30 days out. If it's not available, why not remove the coupon?? I don't know alot about apps. And sometimes this program is extremely frustrating with how long it takes to go through it. Between this app., shopping and finding all the errors on my receipt, it feels like a part time job.

This new updated UI SUCKS!! I've been shopping at Vons more than usual over the years for the deals on the app but I won't be inclined to do that anymore due to this unfriendly user interface. Before, it was simple, quick, and easy to navigate. Now it's a mess. It consumes and waste too much of my valuable time trying to navigate in a reasonable amount of time.

I like the app but whenever you're not on wifi, it's impossible to add things to your cart, always an error code, even with full signal 4G. Same when there's high traffic on the app. So I can't add last minute purchases when I'm in the store, nor plan it in the car. Basically this app does the contrary of what the devs and management want, it doesn't push you to buy more, you just buy what you planned to from the very beginning and stick to your list because nothing else is possible.

I wish the deli had more options. Also, maybe like a courier chat, which also the buyers to talk with courier so if replacement isn't found the buyer still has an option. also maybe customization orders or special requests. I mean, it's easier just to go in the store, but if that is always going to be the case, what is the point of the app if not to match the service.

Update 09/28/21: The list is back but not very useful. Nothing from the ad can be put on the list, either directly or thru search. And the whole app is too cluttered visually. This is only good for online shopping & delivery now. They removed the list feature, only a cart for ordering. Coupons & deals too confusing and long. They ruined the best grocery app out there. I tried to use the chat feature. A blank page came up each time.

They ruined the vons app. The update may be flashy but is not intuitive in the least. Now I have to hunt for what I want. Whoever did this clearly does not clip coupons or shop for groceries using an app. The old app was so easy to navigate and find what I was looking for with a simple tab. Not even a tutorial available. Two thumbs way down. If I could have given it 0 stars I would have. It's like going on a scavenger hunt.

The app, which was automatically updated, is horrible. My list and rewards have disappeared, but worse than that is how difficult it is to use. I want to easily add items to my shopping list, for instance peanut butter. I don't need to scroll through every brand, quantity, regular or reduced fat, etc. I also used the old app for listing items that may not be sold by vons. Now I can't even figure out how to make a list. Please bring back the old app.

Too many hoops to have to jump through just to save a buck or two. App is confusing for the digital coupons and users are forced to create an account and sign in, just to get a coupon. It's bad enough Vons is the equivalent to a convenience store - barely have what you need and the prices are outrageous. Not only do you need a club card to save, but now you need to have an app. Absolutely absurd. Just have savings without making people jump through hoops.

Since my last post I decided to try this horrible app again. Lesson learned, I don't even want to shop with Vons anymore. I mark on the app that I don't want any substitutes, somehow I keep getting subscriptions of items that cost a lot less than the item I ordered. They still charge the me original amount. I tried to return the items, the accepted then back, then sent me an email a week later telling me I'm not getting a refund

On time delivery and excellent performance - My delivery is always on time. If an item is out of stock, the substitution is usually very good. Overall, a great service. The bagging of the groceries needs a slight improvement occasionally. Fruit and eggs on the top of the bag, not the bottom. Otherwise it's a excellent convenient. Whenever I meet on of the drivers, they are always pleasant and helpful.

Sign up system has been down ever since I installed it months ago. It tells me there either are technical difficulties or that my account has been locked for too many attempts despite me only trying again once or twice a month, I CAN'T EVEN LOG IN OR SIGN UP. Love your stores, but your app has much to be desired. Wouldn't recommend until fixed. I CAN'T PRESS "NEED HELP" IN THE SETTINGS BECAUSE I CAN'T LOG IN.
