Thanks for your replied. I have submitted the issue to your support team and hope to get the reply soon. I paid for annual package which started from 26 November 2020 and now still ask me to subscribe and I cannot proceed if not sign up!!!! Not many books compare to App Storytel. Most of the books is for kindergarten level instead of 7 year old and above. Only English books available and limited. Will cancel the subscription once it due as it is not that good as per what have advertised.

So I just downloaded the app because it said 30 day free trial...I have 3 kids who I would've loved to get them into more reading. But I downloaded the app, made the account and was in the process of accepting the free trial then boom it never loads. I decided to reload it on my desktop but the free trial offer no longer applies to me because now I have an existing account and when I try to watch any books it keeps saying error, so I have to pay $49.99. When I try to pay its saying error. 🙄

This app has a lot of issues. So I subscribe to get the 30days trial and after 7days they say my free trial has ended. They cancel everything so i can try again.Subscribe again, and every time i go to the app it says your subscription is over. Can't watch a video or anything, a month later they charge my card🤯what for ? You just said my subscription is over. I wanted it that bad so I tried to pay through the gift option, it only worked for five days. Soo disappointed. Charged twice for nothing

My kids and I love this app. About an hour if stories together every night is part of our routine now. Sadly, the app hasn't been very responsive lately. It seems the touch screen stops responding once you pick a story, which wouldn't be that big an issue, except much of the time the book will jump to a random spot half way through the story, or near the end, even though we've never stopped a book half way and sometimes it happens even on books we haven't read before! Sometime it just closes.

Very good stories, and updated. Don't always agree that titles are age appropriate according to how they are graded due to difficult vocabulary and subjects. I would like the option to have the story tellers voice switched off optionally. To read a book it would be great to have only the background music/sound on but no narrator. The narrator will be the parent or child. Awaiting your feedback.

Hi, Pros: Beautifully designed books and animations- I loved it. Cons: In the young age children are learning to read. And honestly I expected to have an option where I can switch off video mode and my child could read a book by herself and see the same animations in the background. Other wise this becomes lazy "reading" rather than motivating my child to read better (when she is in the mood or as school homework activity). That said, another idea would be (a bit farfetched and a lot of development :)) I would use voice recognition when a child reads a book to highlight the words (as in read correctly) while reading mode. Which would cover amazingly both worlds (listening and actually reading opportunities).

Vooks is a fantastic tool I think. It is a combination of creativity, learning and fun! For sure reading a book to your child is fantastic. My kids love watching Vooks when we are out and about and this is so much more wholesome than simply playing games. The books are creative because of the graphic design incorporating with moving pictures and sound! I think it is wonderful for young kids. My kids get angry and unregulated watching youtube or playing games. This is a perfect solution!

After a couple months using the free teacher's membership I've decided to change my review from 5 stars to 3. After the first week.. i started getting ERRORS when trying to play some videos. Some works fine. Others don't. MANY don't. I contacted customer service twice. Each time was told to tweek my devices and it would work. Have followed through and still MANY videos not working. SIGH!!

I registered for 1 year, but in less than 2 monthes the app logged me out, and it doesn't let me log in. I tryed to change password but the link is not loading the password change page!!! no support yet!!

I don't know if it's a good app because you just go into paying for a subscription. They should just make it an app you have to buy on the app store if you will start the app by making an account then paying for it anyways without seeing it.

UPDATE: they have fixed the bug that caused the app to crash constantly. Out works great now, yay! I love that it is not just another screen. The reading pace is great for kids to be able to follow along. Huge variety of books to choose from. Highly recommend. I can not get anything to play on the app. Every time I try, it says there is an unexpected error and restarts the app.

Really loved this app and highly recommended it. But, I opened it today to find over half of the books I had saved in my library - most of my daughter's favorites are gone. Maybe I missed it in the description or should have known, but I didn't realize that books would be removed and definitely did not enjoy trying to explain it to my 3 yr old. I feel duped and wish I hadn't paid for the full year subscription. Definitely won't recommend the annual subscription to anyone.

We love Vooks! I recommend it to all parents of young kids. Vooks is education and FUN screentime that also helps discover new titles. I have bought several books because my kid loves watching them on Vooks. I love how they organize content and change it depending on ongoing events, celebrations, etc. It's amazing for early readers, because the text is highlighted when read, and it's a nice source to learn pronunciation for non-native speakers. Hands-down one of my favorite apps.

PROS: First of all, we have enjoyed this app immensely as a homeschool family. I bought the actual books of my son's favorite books and he learned to read with these along with Vooks. Excellent video graphics and enjoyable soundtracks with books. It has been his favorite app of all time. CONS: for children that love routine or are autistic this is not recommended. My son found his favorite books and they became part of his daily routine as reward for device time. We had a list made and everything. Suddenly last week POOF almost every single one of them are gone. I had even bought books in advance for his birthday next week that went along with some of those books. He has cried and searched and searched for those books. We looked all over online to find equivalents to those books and their readings and did not find anything. He does not understand why they are gone nor was there any warning. I have never been more disappointed in an app and don't intend to purchase a future annual subscription due to this.

Update: I changed my 3 stars to 5 stars because they have been frequently adding new books!! We love Vooks! It's a great idea, but the fact that there's not that many books and that they took a lot off makes me wonder how much longer I'll keep a subscription. If they had a bigger selection and didn't take books away after however long I'd keep a subscription no problem.

This is legitimatly the one app all 5 of my kids agree on. They love the books, especially when we find ones we already own. The "worst" part is when a favorite book leaves, but that usually just means it's time for us to buy it for our own library. The way the illustrations are animated means that the kids feel like they're watching TV, but as a former reading teacher, I love that the words are included so they can take in some written language. It's also easy to cast!

My daughter loves this app. I wish it had a sleep timer! She likes to listen to the books as she falls asleep, but I need it to turn off after a while, not keep her tablet on all night. (I have tried using a separate sleep timer app, and I can't get that to work with Vooks either). I'd also love for it to play with the screen off when it's in audio only mode.

I purchased this app based off online reviews and ads, but after just a day or two of using this app we quickly realized the books are not well known. We tried searching for titles or authors that are well known to kids and none would come up. And we tried using the suggestion category and my daughter was not interested in them at all. I feel like YouTube had what she was more into on the read aloud books with animated characters and sound. I have also used Epic and it was the same.

we LOVE VOOKs!! but TOO many bad reviews ESPECIALLY for that price. you can Make it 3 or 4 dollars per month, and even make it more after if it Is consistant. I have a 5 year old that gets super sad and upset about things sometimes and I am not about to have him have a fit for 7dollars ...or FIFTY!!! wAAAAY to much.... might as well go buy the books...he can read anyways, so, I it's really just the animation and voices and music we want to enjoy. too many upset customers.... makes us sad!😕😶

was Skeptical but just BUY IT! This app is amazing! I don't allow screen time but the way they do the videos and the words light up is great!! my kids and I both love sitting down and watching a video. I do wish that I could buy the book right from the video 💜 just a suggestion though, I don't mind looking up the book. I have bought many books because of Vooks 10/10
