Been using VW Radio Code Generator for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you unlock the radio in your Volkswagen if you’ve lost the code. Pretty solid if you’ve got an older VW model and your stereo is locked up.
Here’s what you do: you just enter the serial number of your radio and the app generates the unlock code. There’s also a bunch of info on different VW radio models, which is pretty useful. And it supports basically every VW stereo out there – Blaupunkt, Gamma, Beta, you name it.
Look, if you’ve got an older Volkswagen and your radio’s locked up, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – sometimes the codes don’t work and you have to try a few times. But overall it does the job and it’s free, so worth checking out.
