So here's my take on Weather - Routing - Navigation. I've tried a bunch of different navigation and weather apps for boating, and this one's pretty solid overall. The routing features work well and it's great to have all that data - weather, tides, AIS, etc. - in one place. The interface could be a bit more polished, but it gets the job done. If you're an avid sailor or boater, this is definitely worth a look. Just be prepared to spend a bit of time learning all the features.

Description

Been using Weather – Routing – Navigation for a couple months now. It’s basically a complete app for recreational boaters and offshore racers – you’ve got weather, tides, currents, routing, charts, AIS, and more all in one place. Pretty solid if you’re into sailing and want an all-in-one navigation tool.

Here’s what you can do: you can check weather conditions before heading out, plan your route using the built-in routing features, and even see real-time AIS data. There’s also a cool feature where you can connect it to an Iridium Go! device for offshore weather. And you can use your own charts or subscribe to GeoGarage for raster charts.

Look, if you’re a boater who’s into that kind of stuff, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job pretty well. Worth checking out if you want a one-stop-shop for all your sailing navigation needs.
