This app is actually fantastic. Yes, it requires coins at times, but all those coins are obtainable. You aren't just given the choice to buy them, but you get free coins after certain time periods and through watching ads. The selection of comics is fantastic too. Edit: all the comics are slowly charging gems instead of coins, which are expensive to obtain. Not enjoying the app anymore :/

This isn't the worst comic reading app on the play store, but I certainly wouldn't rank it among the best either. I have spent a few $ on it already, so can speak as a paying user. The comic selection is very good with lots of titles and genres. The main problem is the currency (there's 2 different kinds as well as reading tickets) which gets confusing. On top of that there's a subscription service. The translations aren't always the best either, with lots of grammatical errors.

I used to really like this app, but then they changed to gems instead of watching ads for free chapters or coins for chapters. Now, it is almost not worth using the app anymore. Most of the comics have switched to wanting gems which you have to buy (or play games for or something, which I just don't have time to do considering I have several comics to read). I will probably just delete the app and go with a different one. It used to be much better. I wish they hadn't changed it.

Disappointing. I've had this app for a while and it was wonderful! But now everything costs gems which costs money. They added a way to get gems but it's a waste of time trying to download a game andreach the certain level needed just to read a chapter. And sometimes the rewards won't go through. Stories I've been reading since the beginning now cost gems and I'm unable to continue. Definitely not worth the hassle of getting involved in a story anymore.

I am going to at least give this app a three star for the creators and will take this time to say that "Stay With the CEO" and "Minty Summer" will always hold a special place in my heart. That, and when I first got this app, it was AMAZING!!! However, I came to get very disappointed when comic after comic after comic became pay-to-read only, and by the time I got through deleting the ones that I could no longer get via coins, I was down to three comics. I want to give a better rating but can't.

Don't waste your time. Many of the stories aren't translated professionally and are confusing. Others have panels in the wrong order. And very few are "free" and I'm fine with watching adds to get tickets or coins or whatever to do my part to support. But they have it so you get 1/3 through a comic with tickets or ads then all of a sudden it only takes gems. No warning either. It's just a terrible customer experience. Worse if you buy premium you don't even get full access.

So this app used to be cool. You could subscribe for 60$ for the year and read every comic then, no extra money. Now it is way expensive and I'm disappointed. Look comics cost between $60 and $100 to read to completion on these sites when they aren't even physical copies. I can get a lot more physical copies of comics with more pages for way less. In response to webcomic's response: my problem is that you're over charging. I understand how the new method works. I'm saying it's a scam now.

Used to be able to at least somewhat keep up with 2 or 3 comics that I really liked, but even then it took way too much time. The amount of wasted time to watch well over 10 commercials, followed by waiting around and hoping to maybe get a free day is just insane. I have been an avid reader for well over 2 years and have only gotten a free day twice and a free 3 days once. Paying for anything is way too expensive. Now the coins option is gone. Will be deleting if that is not fixed soon.

Well it used to be good, but then they updated it so that you need coins to even read the comics now. Even then, good is kind of a strong word, seeing that almost every comic I have read on the platform has numerous grammatical errors and translation errors. I'm no grammar professor, but if you want me to pay for the content that you allow on the platform, perhaps consider hiring a better translation team, as well as a localization team.

From 5 to 1 star. This was an amazing place to read comics, and there were never problems. Before you payed in coins that were easy to collect if you logged on daily. Gems were an optional thing in which you pay to get special accesses. Now, there are so many coins but not enough gems. Nearly every comic I'm reading has turned to gems. I can only read if I get a free day- bad bc collecting is longer than reading. This app is only good if you can pay or waste time and storage playing games.

I think this app is great. Right off the bat I recieved 5000 coins and I thought that was great! Then, when you read a comic, the first 20 (depends on the comic, some are more some are less) are free. After that, you have to use the coins and unless you are reading 1000 comics at once you are able to easily pay it off (10-25 coins). The app works almost flawlessly. My only critic is to make it easier to follow comic creators (and others)!!

I used to love this app. I would stay up reading, waiting for updates and adding more and more comics to my favorites list so I'd have something new to read everyday. I even signed up for the subscription because it was worth it. But since the update in February, I haven't read anything. I'm still a premium subscriber but it costs to read anything, the coupons are useless. I have yet to find any comic where I could use them, even the once for specific comics. This app is not worth it anymore.

It use to be good when everything was free, or costed coins. If you want some jems, you would have to pay doing a offer. Only if you want a lot of jems, though. They don't give us a lot of options. They barely give you a day, or three to read for free. Like literally... I haven't been able to read for almost a month because every comic cost jems. I try to get 1-3 days to read for free, but of course I can't. You need to have premium to do so. Which is paying them every month. Money chasing app.

I've reviewed this app before, and it was a 5. But now? You can read a lot of different stories with unique storylines and beautiful character designs, but that doesn't matter if you can't read the whole comic. Many comics that I've been following for quite sometime, into the 100's of chapters, are now 'Gems Only' without access to being able to watch ads. I'm no longer able to read a comic I wasted my coins on. I understand you have to help the artists, but screwing over the readers isn't right

The WUF timer constantly unlocks the chapter that I've just read and gets wasted. Plus there's tons of stories that can only be unlocked with gems, but the chapters are ridiculously short and a lot of the stories don't seem very high quality either to be worth the money/effort. The coins are virtually useless too, with like 3000 converting into .1 gems, an insultingly low amount lol. The 'Unlock with gems' banner also appears very abruptly when scrolling and I accidentally wasted 100 gems once.

Great app! Wonderful community, you can post things and read lots of content. Guys! I know you have to read with coins after like 15-20 chapters, but I'm not joking you. It's easy to earn and there are ads you can watch to unlock them. Very accessible! I prefer this more than webtoon for some reason. Lots of different kinds of stories! There is a choice to read all comics for $6.99 a month (3.99 for first), but that is an option. Go free if you want. It's fine! Super easy! :)

I truly wish I never updated it. Ever since I updated the app, I can't finish any of the stories I was reading before. There is no longer an option to unlock with coins for most stories anymore. You have to unlock it with gems that cost money now. I was in the middle of reading some really good books but now I can't finish them. Plus the fact that coins can expire now. I am very disappointed in WebComics. Fix this mistake. I love this app but it's really frustrating.

I've used this app for about 1 year now and back then, you could unlock comic chapters with coins (which you can get for free) but now a lot of the comics cost gems (which cost real money) I know it's how the authors make money but I have stopped reading many of my favorite comics because of this. I wish we could go back. :( The description on the app also says "FREE comics" but that doesn't seem the case. If you want to read actual free comics I suggest webtoon, but that's just my opinion.

Needing lots of gems aside (I use many apps so this is normal for me), my biggest issue is the translations. Typos, incorrect pronoun usage, wrong synonyms (to, too, and two or example), and sometimes the bad grammar itself requiring me to do mental gymnastics. Not all series have bad translations though, so it's inconsistent across the app. I'm able to read on, but it does get a bit annoying if you binge read like I do. I found a lot of fun series I couldn't find elsewhere, so that's a plus!

I've mostly enjoyed using this app, but won't be subscribing again next year. Premium free content aren't available for offline reading. Offline reading is important to me as I have an underground commute without access to the internet. There's some quality control issues with translations. If I can find a title on another app, I usually read it there for that reason.
