it's ok. I paid for a membership and can't even read books without spending even more money and there is no option to just pay for the book outright instead all you get is 10 coins a day when quite literally every chapter of every book is 30+ coins. You can watch a bunch of ads if you feel like wasting your time, but honestly if I pay for a membership I shouldn't have to watch more ads to be allowed to use the app as intended.

Was enjoying the book, but they want more money every few chapters. I dont mind a monthly subscription or paying per book. However, not allowing customers to finish a book before charging more is just ridiculous. I paid the membership fee plus an extra 4.99 to keep reading. I got through 3 or 4 more chapters before they wanted to charge more to continue. Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not spending a ridiculous amount of money to finish one book.

As things upgrade within the app and website. I am forced to buy coins or free pass to get ahead with reading and then if I want to get more I would have to pay more for the premium reader. Events are trash since it's mostly advocating spending money to get useless titles. I'm disappointed this is turning to a money scam reading app. Either way you can get some good free reads here and there if the writer doesn't drop the book. they cut off the cheaper option after spending a certain amount.

Things are not explained well when you purchase stuff. To unlock all the chapters, you will end up spending more than the price for an actual book. They refuse to refund you when you pay for the wrong thing, even though it was their poor wording on the app that made you misunderstand what you were buying. They are not even properly edited and end up reading more like fanfiction than original stories in many cases. Don't waste your time or money, unless you can afford $21+ to unlock one story.

Around 4 years ago I paid for 3/4 books on the then site for this app. The books were good and I was looking forward to going back and re-reading them. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago I started reading a book on social media and liked the story so I downloaded the app and low and behold there were the books that I had already paid for and enjoyed. Today I went to start re-reading one and suddenly its asking me to pay to unlock them AGAIN. Waste of money if you can't keep the content.

Very disappointed with the app I know that no app is completely free. However, there are way too many unnecessary things and it's very difficult to unlock chapters without paying being the only option. I was reading a book and really enjoyed it, but it was overly complicated. Unlike other apps where all I have to do is watch a few ads or read a couple of articles. To be honest I'm going to uninstall this app.

Honestly, I won't lie it is a pretty good reading service due to the fact that it has a multitude of options sometimes free or not. Even if it isn't free, you get to read 40 chapters first, then decide if you continue. All in all, it is easy to use, read, etc. There is a weird problem with it that I noticed, it keeps changing text size even though I haven't been changing the settings on my phone nor on the apps settings itself for reading other than that its basically just good for fanfics

I subscribed hoping to binge a single series, but the monthly plan only gave ~500 coins—far too little, leaving most chapters locked. At that rate it would take years to finish. When I asked support (Carlo) for help, they explained the system isn’t designed for binge readers, and they refused a refund even though I hadn’t used a coin. Very misleading and not reader-friendly. I can’t recommend this app to anyone who wants to actually enjoy their stories.

So this is actually a really great app. I'm ranking it as 2 stars because it is near-impossible for free users if your interest are what is featured. if you want to read something specific, you won't be able to without watching an ad for every single page, multiple ads per page as you continue. If you don't mind spending money, this is a phenomenal app. I'm just a cheapskate who wanted to read without paying.

i downloaded the app and got it all set up. i read until it asked for money , and I bought $4.99 of points, and figured it would let me read the rest of the comic. nope! i got like one more chapter. so I paid $4.99 again to read some more, because it said the next bit was only 30 points, so I bought the 250 points thinking i could finish the story now, right? $10 in I should get one story nope! somehow 2 min more reading and suddenly my balance is too low to continue. I am deleting the app.

This is my first time reading web novels before. The quality is what I expected, some things get by as there isn't a long editing/review process. Sometimes these mistakes make me stumble while reading, but the stories are worth staying for. the WebNovel system of unlocking books makes everything much more expensive or time intensive than it should be so that is by far the most annoying thing. I would rather just pay a few dollars and get the whole book.

The reading experience is good, but stories have started requiring fast passes sooner and sooner over the years. Most stories require them, but Webnovel has continuously made it harder to get them. You only get three free passes a day, but two of them force you to read specific stories for 10-15 minutes to earn them, preventing you from reading what you want. Overall, a pay-to-read app that doesn't care about free users.

Good, but not great. After a certain point, it becomes tedious to unlock chapters. There should definitely be episodes/chapters unlocked daily and there should be a system in place that lets you earn fast passes freely, not limited to specific novels/genres. Fast passes also should not have a limit of 5 or 6 a day. You should also be able to choose when to use vouchers instead of them automatically being used as soon as you acquire them. Otherwise, I enjoy the stories. At least what I can of em.

Not bad until you realize it'll take 2-6 months to earn enough points/Fast Passes to unlock all the chapters of an entire novel if you don't want to buy coins to unlock them. If you do want to buy coins, the amount of coins it takes to unlock all chapters of any single novel is NOT reasonable. Printed versions of any webnovel offered would cost at most $25, but to read it through WebNovel, the cost is 3-5 times more!!! Absolute Rip-Off!!

Initial review: 2018 (5 stars) Easy to use, has lots of choices, and generally a good app to waste spare time or when you are bored. Update: 2025 (3 stars) Much more ads now, especially with the ads that you are forced to see at the bottom of the screen, I've become used to just closing it but everytime you go to a new chapter it is there. to be honest, if they would implement a system where you can pay to not have ads at the bottom of the screen I would do it, but there isnt :(

Fast passes and points that you earn the most won't transfer to coins. Then when you want to use the fastpass for the book you are reading, you can't because the one book you are reading, doesn't qualify for fast pass. I have tons of points and for what, some stupid badges. All these book apps are money grabs and it sucks. The only one worth paying for is Galatea, there you pay for the year (reasonable price) and you get unlimited reading.

Worst reading app I've found, and that's saying something. Fast passes are a joke because you have to use several and they have to be the right kind. Coins are almost impossible to earn unless you spend $. It can take days to earn enough to unlock even 1 chapter. I was just rewarded a "sitewide unlock for 1.5 hours" and it actually only lasted

The stories are pretty good, but after a few chapters they all require to be paid for to be unlocked, and I get that it's to support the writers, but it's a hassle to have to wait for 2 weeks to be able to read for free for 24 hours, but at least the possibility of reading free is on the table. Also, the 'advanced search' isn't actually advanced. They just have the popular tags for stories, so if you want to find a gl, good luck because that's not on the advanced search but bl is.

So far, this is a fantastic reading service, Although you are limited with how far you can read in books, you can, however, get free reading past that point through certain activities. plus, sometimes you get to read for free for 24 hours. The translations, although sometimes a bit bad, are usually pretty good. plus, it's not just for novels like the name suggests, but it also has comics.

Won't open on Pixel 10 Pro XL. Maybe Android 16 as a whole but idk. Crazy expensive if you read a lot. There are fast passes you can get from watching ads and whatnot to get free chapters but you can only get about 2-3 per day. I spent $20 and ran out after a single day. I don't spend any money on it anymore, but I'd spend $15/month on a subscription if I could read for free. They could even do like Kindle Unlimited and just have a selection of novels available for free with a subscription.
