Description
Been using webOnWrist: News & Browser for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one app that turns your Wear OS smartwatch into a mini web browser and news reader. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: You can browse websites in a text-only mode, which is perfect for the small watch screen. There’s also an RSS feed reader, so you can get news headlines from your favorite sites. And the customizable feeds are a nice touch – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into staying informed on the go and you’ve got a Wear OS watch, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the website rendering can be a bit wonky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on webOnWrist: News & Browser. I've tested a bunch of news and browser apps for smartwatches and this one's a pretty solid all-in-one solution. The text-optimized web browsing works well, and the RSS feed support is great for quickly catching up on headlines. And it's not super feature-rich, but it covers the basics really well. The only real downside is the occasional rendering issues with certain websites. But if you just need a simple way to browse the web and read news on your watch, webOnWrist is worth a look.
