Reviews for Welltory: Heart Rate Monitor

Rye Thomas (Ryan Little)

The app tracks loads of data and provides lots of useful analysis. It can pick up on correlations that might otherwise be difficult or impossibe to notice. It's very valuable. However, if you want to see raw data scores, buckle up. It provides *some* scores in the app, but other basic scores are only accessible in the web app, and some require actually *exporting* data from the web app to see. It becomes very tedious and frustrating.

Possibly the biggest scam ever. They make you pay for a year ahead of time with no options to cancel. But most important is the data is complete BS. I'll save you a bunch of money, if it says you didn't score well it's because your heart rate is high. If your heart rate is low or normal you'll score fine. But the app has so many glitches. It'll tell me to have a good night sleeping when I wake up at 4am and tell me to get ready for sleep at noon. It is the most pointless app ever and can't cncl.

Wellness Repository is what I assume the name is short for, and it is apt for this app. Originally I downloaded it because I was looking for something to help me track my health metrics such as blood pressure and weight, but I got more than I expected. I've been learning from the articles that it sends, as well as the other stats it brings up. You do have to pay ~$50/yr if you want to keep that insight past the trial (or ~$100/yr if someone is on apple). Good w/out it too. Out of typin spac

After the free mandatory trial the app usability is very poor, and not to mention you get bombarded every 5 sec to get subscription, you cannot read their articles because of that. 1 measurement every day, and not even accurate, you cannot read any of the reports not even for the stress,, energy and health for recommendations, you cannot use sleep section at all, and was very basic on trial, I don't see point having something in my phone I cannot use

Nothing works properly and there's no trial version so you don't realize this until you pay. It was been useless for me and was a source of constant frustration. Imported data is incorrect, if it manages to import at all. The list of apps it "connects" to is misleading, as most of them use Google Fit or IFTTT as intermediaries and that usually doesn't work. Support staff don't understand how the app works in enough detail to resolve problems. They did issue a refund upon request.

A lot of information at your finger tips (literally). Still working through the free trial and seriously considering purchasing. It takes more then a week to ingest the data and how it pertains to you (baseline/trends) but worth it. I am an open source kind of person but you will not find this set of metrics in an open source app, not yet at least, or not that I have found. I am really interested with the integration with fitness apps & wearables and will update the review after I do.

Has some useful data, especially regular HRV info throughout the day. But despite being a premium member already (monthly), I got sick and tired of the constant ads to upgrade to the annual plan. It's so annoying and creates a horrible experience for an app that's generally quite good. The app kept telling me to reduce stress, so I did, and canceled my membership because of the ads.

I've wished for an app like this for so long and Welltory has done a fantastic job! However, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. The app is impressive, but I just can't afford to pay for the subscription. I genuinely do see the value of what we're paying for; however, $12.99/mo is just too much. I plan to buy the annual plan when I can (which is a MUCH better deal), but I wanted to pay monthly until then. EDIT: The promo they offered was 20% off the first month. Not great, in my opinion...

Not worth the money. This app used to be great until they removed most of the features from the free version. Within the last month they have basically gotten rid of all the features available on the free version. I can't even look at my past history anymore. It's essentially just a way of getting people to spend money by shoving everything behind a pay wall. Most of the information they added to the paid version isn't very beneficial either. Just get Heart Math instead.

I'm really not sure how to rate it - i think it should be lower, but it's pulling in correct data. It's using data from my Galaxy Watch 7, but keeps saying I'm stressed - I take multiple readings a day. Other apps don't give me an alarmist result. I paid for the service, too, based off of a reputable health site. However, it feels more like a WebMD vibe.
