Description
Been using the WFAA – News from North Texas app for a couple months now. It’s basically a news and weather app focused on the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Pretty solid if you’re into keeping up with what’s going on locally.
Here’s what you can do: get real-time alerts for breaking news, read the latest stories, check interactive weather forecasts and radar. And there’s also live video from WFAA newscasts – that’s pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out how to use some of the features, but it’s all pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you live in North Texas and want to stay on top of what’s happening in your area, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – there are some ads that can get annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a good local news and weather app.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on the WFAA - News from North Texas app. I've tried a bunch of local news apps and this one's pretty solid. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the coverage of Dallas-Fort Worth news and weather is comprehensive. The live video streams are a nice bonus too. My only real gripe is the ads can be a bit intrusive at times, but that's the trade-off for a free app. Overall though, it's a great option if you want to stay up-to-date on what's happening in your part of Texas.
