Been using WhatsitAI: ID & Value Anything for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that uses AI to help you identify and value all kinds of things – from antiques and collectibles to random everyday objects. Pretty solid if you’re into thrifting, buying and selling stuff, or just being a curious cat about your things.
Here’s what you do: You can take a photo of an item and the app will instantly identify it and give you a market value estimate. There’s also a barcode scanner, which is pretty cool. And you can browse a huge database of items – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful when you’re not sure what something is.
Look, if you’re into thrifting, reselling, or just wondering about the value of your belongings, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the value estimates can be a bit off sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
