Mostly good: I saved $8 on my order, although the sign-up process was a bit lengthy, and I got an app programming error message saying "object not set to an instance" a few times. Eventually it worked, and with a few hiccups in submitting (I was unable to pay ahead, but paying at the widow is fine I guess) I was able to submit my order and they had it ready when I showed up at the store. Pretty good overall; app could use a little cleanup in development/user experience.

Logged in, tried to make an order, I get an error message popping up, so I can't place my order. I log out, uninstall, reinstall, and now I can't even log in anymore. Anytime I log in I just get the same error that I got before. I'm not mistyping anything either because the log in info was saved automatically. Edit: I have figured out how to get it working on my phone. I had to go into my app settings and delete both the cache and the storage data before uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Tried to place an order for delivery and an error message pops up stating that the payment function is not available, to pay at the castle. Tried ordering as a pickup, same error message. Tried reinstalling the app and reordering, same error message. The payment system on this app has always been bad but this is ridiculous. This app is terrible.
Was given an $8 off mobile order reward for hitting rewards milestone. Went to redeem the reward and hit the redeem reward now key. Then i decided to add some fries to the order so i had to back up to the menu to edit the order. When i went back to checkout the $8 reward was not available. I have logged out and back in and it is still unavailable. Ridiculous.
I'll never order from this app again. You order food, they deliver half of it and when you call to report it they tell you "it'll be escalated" but they actually do nothing. White Castle takes your money and doesn't deliver all of what you paid for and expect to still be compensated. I've been waiting months for a partial refund I'm sure I'll never actually see. Thieves! Disgusting business practices.
Food ordering app with HIDDEN Prices. There's not many more features that are more annoying than not being able to see the price of things until they're in your cart. Edit on 5/28/25: and you obviously don't read entire reviews. Edit 2 on 5/29/25: I clearly said that the prices are not seen UNTIL the item is in the cart and you confirmed that is indeed the case. Therefor affirming that what I'm saying is true that the prices are "UNTIL they're in your cart". And now you're trying to argue that?
edit: reply to the reply: plenty of other restaurants have this. you show the base price with no changes, and then show cost changes of different options you have for that item, that way people can get an idea of the cost instead of having to add an item to the bag every time. it makes ordering easier, but all prices are hidden when you look at the menu, so you have to put an item in the cart in order to check the price. it has been like this for the almost 3 years i have had this app.
Took me 4 tries to get the app to work. Lost the $5.00 off coupon for my first mobile order. The app stopped working 4 times. Seriously if my husband who never asks for anything didn't want this, I would have saved us the 4.99 delivery fee, and the 6.00 tip. Won't probably use or go there ever again. 10 cheese sliders, and 2 medium fries. 29.00. Could have had a steak dinner cheaper! your app needs WORK! and so do your prices!
Since my last review (of 1 star due to SERIOUS app issues), I am now giving a 3. The app has definitely been improved, but it is still extremely slow when starting up and getting to the rewards or order portion. Once at the rewards or order section, the app runs smoothly and works great. The interface has definitely been improved and looks much better, so it definitely has some potential. For now, it's a 3 out of 5 (better than the previous 1 out of 5). Definitely heading in the right direction.
Honestly this is such a badly designed app. Having to back three times out of everything and it's also really easy to order from the wrong store. The biggest issue is getting the rewards to activate. I've had probably three or four orders that have not given me the $5 reward or the extra points on Wednesdays.
