Mostly good: I saved $8 on my order, although the sign-up process was a bit lengthy, and I got an app programming error message saying "object not set to an instance" a few times. Eventually it worked, and with a few hiccups in submitting (I was unable to pay ahead, but paying at the widow is fine I guess) I was able to submit my order and they had it ready when I showed up at the store. Pretty good overall; app could use a little cleanup in development/user experience.

Logged in, tried to make an order, I get an error message popping up, so I can't place my order. I log out, uninstall, reinstall, and now I can't even log in anymore. Anytime I log in I just get the same error that I got before. I'm not mistyping anything either because the log in info was saved automatically. Edit: I have figured out how to get it working on my phone. I had to go into my app settings and delete both the cache and the storage data before uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Tried to place an order for delivery and an error message pops up stating that the payment function is not available, to pay at the castle. Tried ordering as a pickup, same error message. Tried reinstalling the app and reordering, same error message. The payment system on this app has always been bad but this is ridiculous. This app is terrible.

Was given an $8 off mobile order reward for hitting rewards milestone. Went to redeem the reward and hit the redeem reward now key. Then i decided to add some fries to the order so i had to back up to the menu to edit the order. When i went back to checkout the $8 reward was not available. I have logged out and back in and it is still unavailable. Ridiculous.

I'll never order from this app again. You order food, they deliver half of it and when you call to report it they tell you "it'll be escalated" but they actually do nothing. White Castle takes your money and doesn't deliver all of what you paid for and expect to still be compensated. I've been waiting months for a partial refund I'm sure I'll never actually see. Thieves! Disgusting business practices.

Food ordering app with HIDDEN Prices. There's not many more features that are more annoying than not being able to see the price of things until they're in your cart. Edit on 5/28/25: and you obviously don't read entire reviews. Edit 2 on 5/29/25: I clearly said that the prices are not seen UNTIL the item is in the cart and you confirmed that is indeed the case. Therefor affirming that what I'm saying is true that the prices are "UNTIL they're in your cart". And now you're trying to argue that?

edit: reply to the reply: plenty of other restaurants have this. you show the base price with no changes, and then show cost changes of different options you have for that item, that way people can get an idea of the cost instead of having to add an item to the bag every time. it makes ordering easier, but all prices are hidden when you look at the menu, so you have to put an item in the cart in order to check the price. it has been like this for the almost 3 years i have had this app.

Took me 4 tries to get the app to work. Lost the $5.00 off coupon for my first mobile order. The app stopped working 4 times. Seriously if my husband who never asks for anything didn't want this, I would have saved us the 4.99 delivery fee, and the 6.00 tip. Won't probably use or go there ever again. 10 cheese sliders, and 2 medium fries. 29.00. Could have had a steak dinner cheaper! your app needs WORK! and so do your prices!

Since my last review (of 1 star due to SERIOUS app issues), I am now giving a 3. The app has definitely been improved, but it is still extremely slow when starting up and getting to the rewards or order portion. Once at the rewards or order section, the app runs smoothly and works great. The interface has definitely been improved and looks much better, so it definitely has some potential. For now, it's a 3 out of 5 (better than the previous 1 out of 5). Definitely heading in the right direction.

Honestly this is such a badly designed app. Having to back three times out of everything and it's also really easy to order from the wrong store. The biggest issue is getting the rewards to activate. I've had probably three or four orders that have not given me the $5 reward or the extra points on Wednesdays.

Fix this glitch , when it's time to check out.. over & over it sends me back to place another order instead of me placing my original first order ! The devs need to fix this for efficient checkout processes indeed. ALSO, the taxes and surcharge for delivery is ridiculous! If this persists I'll delete this! I must have my WHITE Castles for certain! It's a hassle to go in store, when I could order from the app !

Not very easy to use. Extremely confusing. Thrown together. Prices not shown til checkout. Customizing is hard. Have to manually change castles when ordering or you'll have to start over. For now, better to go inside. App needs to be improved. very time consuming. Enjoyed my food though.

Deals will disappear once you apply them to your cart, whether or not you actually use them. App crashes and you added a good deal to your cart? Too bad, app won't remember anything you added to your cart, and the deal will no longer show up in your deals section. Also, no prices on anything until it's in the cart? my God this is a dumpster fire.

There was a promo code for 25% off mobile order that was expiring in November, but then at checkout, it says it's only available from July something to September 1st, which was a little annoying. Make sure to also disconnect from any VPNs you're connected to. It'll give you all sorts of errors and won't work at all. I was worried the app was broken but nope, just doesn't like VPNs it seems.

I used to love this app, it worked great. But something changed within the last update or two. It's painful to open with how long it takes, specifically how long it takes to open the deals and rewards. I literally just walked out of the restaurant and drove out of my way to McDonalds because it was taking so long. The McDs app worked great, BTW.

Apparently they're phasing out the impossible slider, but the app hasn't caught up to that. twice now I've attempted to order them, the first time they simply stated they were out, but today I was told they intend to stop selling them. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for a credit card refund. As a vegetarian, this sucks, and I'll likely stop going to white castle over it if it's true.

App is very clunky to use and does not work well. Rewards and special offers often don't work. App will offer deals, but will then say that the deal is not available after you have taken the time to put your order together. If you put together an order and apply a deal to your cart and then try to edit your cart at all, your deal will disappear from your cart and not be available to select again.

Crashed halfway through my first order ever giving me a login error that can't be cleared (I'd already created an account and was logged in for a while). I Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and got the same error. Utter trash. Update. A year later and still utter trash. Slow, unresponsive and locks you out of coupons if you back up to try and figure out why they didn't work in the first place. How can a major chain's app be this bad?

Terrible interface; can't apply coupons. If you sign up and earn rewards/points, there's no clear way of applying those points to your future orders. The app is difficult to navigate, lacks a lot of info and doesn't fully function. UPDATE 09/2025: App is still bad. Still doesn't navigate well, still doesn't apply coupons to online orders, and when you make online orders that 'fulfill' requirements for further offers, those offers are not made available despite unlocking.

I want to give 5 but it is not accurate on time. I started an order and it said store was closed, then I'm driving home and the line is full of cars...COMPLETELY OPEN! Needs to be up-to-date on that! Sometimes when I try PAY NOW it does not allow, what do you want to do, pay cash?! NO! Overall, good app, could spruce up the graphics a little, aesthetically it is not appealing, however, it is efficient!
