Reviews for White Noise Pro

developer just wants your money. purchased app and sounds before. I had to reset my phone so I exported every mix and sound that I had. on reinstall, when importing what I already owned, it gave me a warning that it would only use stock sounds and that I had to buy the "pro" version to obtain the same features that I had previously purchased in the previous version. the latest "upgrade" of the previous version actually downgraded the app to force people to buy it again as "pro" version. rip off!

We bought this app because it could be cast to Google devices. It turns out to only be castable to devices with screens (tvs, home display, etc.) When casting the audio randomly cuts even after enabling it during do no disturbed. The sounds are amazing, robust, and emersive so you will be woken up when the sound cuts. Also tried to report a problem and leave feedback to the developer but that function does not work either.

Edit: I still love this app when it works. However, a serious bug has arisen recently. When I have white noise playing from the Playlist feature, sometimes it will randomly switch tracks in the middle of the night. This wakes me up because my other tracks are guided meditations used to help fall asleep. Is this a known bug? It is really disruptive but the Playlist feature is the whole reason I use this app!

Thank you! I can finally sleep! I purchased the $.99 version out of insomniac desperation. I've tried other white noise sleeping apps but they were lackluster, at best. I gave your $.99 version a try & I was shocked. The natural sounds...they sounded real. The Babbling Brook, my personal favorite, instantly relaxed me. I woke up 6 hrs later. Now I want more customizable features so I'm getting the Pro version. Absolutely worth it! Thanks Again!

I've been using this app ever since my daughter was born almost 11 years ago. Really great app, very rarely have issues at all with it. I only use the oscillating fan sound so can't attest to other sounds. The alarms are more reliable than the clock app on the multiple phones I've used over the years. Have it on all my devices so I'm never without my white noise sounds to fall asleep to or just tune out the world.

I've had this free app for years as a noise machine for sleeping and just now decided to give them money for it because I enjoy it so much. I'm going to stay using it as a relaxation machine during the day! And the money app makes it so you can listen while using other apps.... wish I knew this year's ago!

I've been using this app for years and I love that I can adjust my own favorite sound mix

good variety of sounds. status on as long as you wish. Perfect hotel companion.

Works as advertised. Good collection of background sounds.

This app would be perfect if it had casting or if it was able to be used effectively with Echo devices. I've set up multiple echos in my house but this app won't let you cast to grouped speakers, it will only let you use bluetooth to a single device. I have to use Spotify and loop sound tracks (the cut off and restart are very obvious and disturbing doing it this way). I know Amazon has an API that will allow developer apps to cast to echo devices and grouped echo devices - Spotify does it.

The app doesn't stop playing mixes normally! When you start the app and click to play a mix, everything is alright, but as soon as you select to play another mix, it's very often, when you begin experiencing sound issues, like sound intermittent playing etc. To workaround that, you have to stop the mix, close the app, open it again and play this mix again. When the mix is the first one to play, and no one was played before, everything is great! Undoubtedly, it's a resource management issue!

dont bother, app shuts down randomly. using this to help me sleep, and having the app crash in the middle of the night wakes me up. I thought paying would improve performance but free version is enough, even tho it also crashes randomly

love it! As crazy of a statement this is, I'm going to say it. This app changed my life. it's wonderful for sleeping but I use it during the day to relax me. very easy to use, a ton of sounds. I'd recommend it to anyone. I've used so many of these apps but became my go-to.

Great app! Been using it to help me sleep for years now, would be full stars, but - it pauses whenever I open another app to listen to something. It used to play in the background, and now there's no longer an option to have both. I wish this would be updated so I can still have white noise play when I'm listening to something else. I installed the pro version hoping this would be an option but it's still not there.

Using app for years, mostly stayed the same & uses little storage space. Glad it still works on old Android OS. Ability to download more sounds is best part & creating your own recordings & share it. Though it'd be nice to be able to upload your own audio files from the phone (instead of needing a PC) & manually edit recorded sounds (trim, cut, delete, fade in/out). For those who have issues with app automatically closing need to turn off "battery optimization" for this app in Android settings.

good sleep app, but several glitches. weird fading in and out on white noise, but not a big deal. alarm is inconsistent and unreliable. I'll check to make sure it's set, but then it won't work, even though day before it worked great. I do like that the alarm has a fade-in, just wish I could trust it's going to work (have to set a back up alarm to assure I don't over sleep) Overall still a good white noise app

This has got to be the best noise app on the market. I cant even tell you how many years I have had this app. I have paid for it twice. Once in the Apple store, and then again when I changed over to Android. The paid version has so many more options, but it is supposed to be without ads. So why is it the White noise store that goes with it is loaded with ads. That was the point of getting the paid version. When someone pays for your app, and you have promised no ads, you should uphold that.

I've enjoyed this app for a long time. It's great for relaxing: the various repetitive sounds let me wind down while trying to sleep. As a nervous flyer it's perfect for calming down on planes. Of course it's great for blocking out other sound when I need to focus. The selection is FANTASTIC. Most apps only offer rain/ocean/nature. The paid option has so much more & it's worth every penny. I never thought I'd find train wheels rolling over tracks soothing, but it's one of my favorites.

Great app, wish you could have more than 5 sounds, also the crickets are not good. would like some more natural night sounds. also would be nice if when switching back from clock screen the sounds screen were dimmed more for the middle of the night. It is easy to bump it and lighten up the room. Same with the volume somtime it gets bumped and is super loud. trying not to wake my partner. Clock is Amazing with dimmer, wish you could lock the color. I nightly have to swipe to find the Red color.

I've used this app for years. I can say that in the last two years it has crashed at least once a month in the middle of the night, waking me up. It also autoplays in my car even if I had turned off the app every now and then. Newest issue? HORRIBLE battery drain. my phone has suddenly been unable to charge with this app open. This one made me buy a machine and I only use this app now as a backup.
