Optional.get() can't be called on absent value I've re-installed the app several times and it has all the requested permissions, and it just can't define my location (though all the other apps can do it!) and keeps showing the same error. Please fix the problem! I can't use the app with it

← Back to WhooshGreat app. It actually explains how to use the scooter. One big draw back. I used this app while on holiday and my bank's security declined payment after use of the scooters. I've told the bank it's a true request of payment and that it should be accepted yet the app is unable to take payment & just keeps requesting payment unable to get out of that loop. When I open the app to pay it simply says there are so scooters in the area (ofc as I'm not longer in the country!) Quite frustrating. Plz fix
Hard to find the parking. The map should clearly show your way to the nearest one.
I had issues with the service. When I tried contacting the support via app chat, describing the problem in details, there was no any response, never. The last time I had problems (had to fasten the lock, but it won't open before being fastened) I decided to stop using the service, knowing perfectly that there will be no help (but being threatened with a fine because of "not locked scooter". Of course, I locked it, but this costed me another start-finish session and thus more money).
The app is horrible and you it doesn't let you know about restricted areas where you can't park. The service is very expensive and it's not worth.
Wasn't able to register my phone number for a week, and unable to use the service at all. Really disappointed, as others looked like they were having fun.
The app turns on and turns off options by itself and this cost me extra fees. For example, I made sure that my subscription won't be renewed and I turned off that option, but the next week, it turned on by itself. Secondly, I never turn on the insurance option, and today it turned on by itself and I paid extra fees. When I contacted the support, they answered with a blurry answer and left the conversation , without letting me reply.
A roller-coaster experience. At first, got terribly stuck in the rain with nowhere available to park the scooter. No support from the company to help. And the time was running, money spending :D That 1 h of my life I thought I joined a money vacuum cleaner with no ability to unplug from it. It was stressful to think that it will never stop charging you and in a day you owe about 100 euros. But then my case was solved. All money returned. Don't even think to touch the scooter before rain.
simply doesn't work on pixel phones, can't launch the app
The map was showing my location incorrectly so I couldn't figure out where the parking place was in relation to my location! And even when I found it (thanks to yandex maps) I wasn't able to finish the ride. Let alone I wasn't able to fix my phone on the scooter, so you can imagine what it looked like when I was trying to get my bearings 😡 I spent a huge amount of time on this and moreover I paid for it!!! The experience was awful and I'm never ever going to use your app again!
I wanted to pause my ride, for a coffee pause. Once back, it shoes me 3 times more the price! I want to unlock it - does not work! I tried to contact the support - no response. Five-ten minutes later it did unlocked itself, but it have counted me every single minute of the waiting time! The ride was harsh and the scooter is slow and heavy. Not strong enough to take me uphill. Phone holder won't hold. The app itself is confusing. In the end it comes out more expensive than just taking a taxi.
They're not clear about how much they charge - which is a lot, given the range of alternatives - and then prevent you from deleting your account for two weeks, even after all has been paid. They also give you a "discount" for inserting payment information before buying anything. No thanks, I can literally afford a full year's subscription of electric bikes for the same price I paid to travel the distance between two metro stations. Each day I'm forced to have this thing installed makes me madder
Terrible. I was able to use only 3 tikes. The first time everything worked out. Second and third time the app says I didn't pay. Even though it's already been charged in my credit card. The support takes a long time to fix it. It's not practical. It's complicated. Also, the all has only registered one trip and not 3. Which means I can't start using the Fidelity and Cashback program. Horrible.
Bad Interface and poor service, how can you unlock a scooter after paying for 20 min but there's only 10 min left in the battery. This company deserve to be sued.
Can't complete SmartCaptcha by Yandex Cloud (the slider one) when trying to add phone number. Update: It worked. Initially I thought you have to drag the slider. Turns out you have to tap the little arrow a few times. Not the most intuitive captcha, especially on smartphones where you drag stuff all the time, but thank you for the help.
1 star until they introduce obvious and easy-to-cancel-your-subscription option. Right now, you need to reach them through chat to cancel it. And not only that - they will be rude to you and do a bit of mainsplaining how stupid you are, and tell you their subscription policy is just OK. Then they will leave the chat. Good luck in providing your card details to this type of service.
It makes almost no sense to use the app, at least in St Petersburg. In-built GPS transceivers are so buggy that you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a forbidden zone (twice, in a river) and have to haul the scooter yourself half of the time. For the last four trips, I had to cancel twice (!!!) in the middle of a trip. The only thing that works without fail is billing - all buck, no bang. E-scooters are for moving around, not for exercise. For God's sake, FIX IT!
Worst scooter service! It stopped in the middle of my route! It went from D -Drive- to S -Sport- on the screen and literally froze. Then I tried to park it, pause it but nothing. I tried switching from Drive to Sports and back again and still would not move! Then all of a sudden it started working again, but again no indication, as to how or why. Deleting it immediately, and it's such a pit, as the scooter itself is sturdy and good! Really bad service!
I see what is going on here. Make the "ensurance" you guys secretly turn on every ride, that you charge for separately from riding scooters, on every ride, a pop-up that asks "do you want to pay for extended ensurance", ofc the pop up has to be either a one time thing or make it a toggle in settings so that people can choose. Better yet include it into your subscription..... And then my review will become a 5 stars. edit: understood, i am not changing the review until then.
The app doesn't work. We've been trying to register all day and when we enter our phone numbers we get a "connection issues" message. So frustrating as they have a monopoly on scooters in Rio so we've been using Itau bikes instead as their app allowed us to register easily!
