So here's my honest take on WhosDue. I've tested a bunch of productivity apps for small animal breeders and this one's pretty solid. The core features work well and it's got all the basics covered. The data visualization is decent and it's nice to have everything in one place instead of juggling paper records. But it's not the most polished app out there - the interface feels a little dated and some of the advanced features are not super intuitive. Still, for the price (free!) it's a pretty good option if you need a litter tracking app.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features for rabbit and cavy breeders
  • Backup your data to Google Drive, so you don't lose it
  • Free to use, no need to pay for the basic version
  • Simple to set up and start tracking your animals
  • Gives you insights to improve your breeding program

Cons

  • Interface is a bit dated and clunky in places
  • Some advanced features can be confusing to figure out
  • Gets repetitive after tracking a bunch of litters
  • Occasional bugs and crashes, but not too frequent

Description

Been using WhosDue for a couple months now. It’s basically a litter record keeping app for rabbits and guinea pigs. Pretty solid if you’re into raising small livestock.

Here’s what you do: you can track when your animals are due to have litters, when the litters are due to wean, and all kinds of stats to see how your animals are performing. There’s also a cool feature to back up all your data to Google Drive, which is pretty handy. And the app gives you info to help make decisions on which animals are the most productive.

Look, if you’re into raising rabbits or cavies, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to keep on top of your breeding program.
