easy to use and well organized. I was able to plan out my conference classes which included time reminders so I didn't miss anything.
Reviews for Whova - Event & Conference App
← Back to Whova - Event & Conference AppWorks well for regular computer and smartphone users. Once the check in was set for me, it worked well for me on reception at the conference. However, navigating anywhere else was difficult. Could have been my phone - an Oppo. I am about to retire, so won't have to be working with any apps soon,🤣
Decent. Unfortunately the sound was inconsistent (no Bluetooth so speakerphone only). If that is fixed, it may be equivalent to other products
I have used the Whova app for our past conventions for at least four years running. It's versatile, convenient, and easy to manage. Our attendees find it useful and not time consuming to manipulate, the formats are easy to set up and instructions and directions are clear to understand. It allows for a calendar use and input of your programs to utilize, You have easy access to Whova assistance if needed. I would highly recommend this app for all of your professional.needs
I was recently introduced to this amazing Whova app thanks to the Soldiers to Sidelines Summit I attended. This feature-rich app allowed me to connect, network, and stay informed of every activity and person that I met at the event. I am definitely impressed with it and strongly recommend it for any event organizers who want the best tool for their attendees!
I have used the Whova app for several different trade shows now. It is a really great tool for reviewing and selecting your schedule of events. It deserves five stars just for that capability, but it does so much more with social connections in chat, messaging and becomes a really great tool for the entire time that you're at a conference or event. I recommend using this app to event organizers and certainly for anyone attending an event with Whova enabled.
The Whova App is a Wonderful Tool that empowers the User's access to other Registrants... it is also a Great Resource for keeping up with additional Opportunities to engage with others during Conferences I also appreciate the feature that allows for the Posting of Photos... The ability to create Polls and Meet ups allow Conference Registrants to create additional opportunities to Network... I Love Whova!
This allows attendees of conferences to easily see everyone who's there, quickly scroll through the schedule, star important events for now and for later, add questions and interact, and even add things to your calendar. I haven't seen a better Conference app, and I'm always happy when a conference uses this. If people know of other high quality alternatives for conferences, I would like to hear them.
It was great! WHOVA was the app used for StartUp Week Vegas. I was able to connect with attendees, set up a poll, promote my event (I was a speaker) -- and even set up a meeting with people after the event! WHOVA is easy to use and adds a lot of value. I have already recommended it to my friends!
I enjoyed using the Whova app for the summer institute. It was easy to use and fun. We were able to create polls, invite others to outings, discuss our sessions, and exchange resources and information. The app was a phone book for us. This app is a must-have! I highly recommend this app!!
Whova made navigating the conference so easy. it allowed me to select the sessions to attend and directly add them to my calendar. During the event, everything I needed was at the ready, including slide decks for the presentations. technology is great ( except when it's not) and Whova is terrific.
This app was very helpful. The first time using it was a little confusing, just because it was new, but truly it was very easy to navigate and helped to keep me on track. I especially the loved the way they organized the overall schedule/my agenda. I 100% recommend it to anyone who needs to organize a massive event.
by far the most superior app I've been on to connect virtually & stay connected. very impressive platform. I attended a virtual symposium & the whole site I was very happy w/ the platform encourages you to interact, gives points which made it fun for partic, creating new topics & DMing w/ others was very easy. my only note to developers about adding a category to find virtual meetup, & it took me some panicking & searching to find out I didn't have access to certain days I'm 100% not affiliated
I used Whova for a virtual career fair and it was super easy to navigate. I could check out different employers, join sessions, and even meet with recruiters directly. It felt way more organized and I actually learned about some openings I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Really useful for students looking for jobs/ networking.
it was so simple and easy to use. You can post questions, polls, articles and so on. You can chat with other members and not have to exchange numbers. All the break out sessions are listed, with description and speaker info. I also liked that you could see the full agenda, add it to your own agenda, and go back inforth quickly. if you double booked it will tell you. You can post pictures. I really liked the app.
This was my first experience with Whova. Usually don't like to download apps to my phone, but It was worth it. I could go between my phone and laptop computer easily. It was not difficult to navigate in the app. The best part was the connection with others. I venture to say, I interacted more than I at typical "in person" conference. Attendees could chat, create meet-ups, add photos, message others, ask the speaker specific questions, participate in breakout sessions from the comfort of home.
My first time using the Whova app I found it was intuitive and easy to navigate. It was easy to search for people by different keywords, names, or companies. I used the chat feature to connect with multiple people I wanted to meet. I saw the scheduling option but didn't use it. Not sure how it integrates with Google calendar. If I could make a request it would be for items I selected for my agenda be added to my personal calendar. Also want good LinkedIn integration.
We used this app for a huge conference we had and it made it so easy.It has the schedule, the layout, even maps.!!!if I needed to communicate with someone,I could do it through Whova as well!!!!it just was very easy.If I could give it more stars, I would!!!!!!! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend.!!!!!!!! we could even upload our pictures from the event and see others as well!!!!! that was cool!
Whova has been an effective way to glance around at all parts of the conference, to click on where I want to participate, and to connect with others. On my laptop, I found the juxtaposition of the full agenda and with my agenda a bit clumsy to use. On my mobile app, it seemed much easier. But in neither case could I find any option for printing a hard copy of my agenda.
I would have given this app a 5 star rating, because it has been a lot of fun for our event. However, the red notification dots at the bottom keep showing up when there is nothing there to see. It keeps showing that I have 38 messages, when I've read them all, and there is nothing new to see. It keeps showing new community events when no one has added anything. Other than that small annoyance, it is a fantastic app and is really helping out attendees get to know each other better.
