I personally like this app. It's very cute and it offers a ton of cute & cool features you can do with not just your self but your friends or partner! Pretty much just anyone you want to do these things with. For example you can send widgets to each other's phone, find matching wallpapers or they offer cute templates you can use to make your own and import your own photos, and raising your own pet is something I find enjoyable. The only thing I don't like is all the ads they cram down your mouth
Reviews for Widgetable: Besties & Couples
← Back to Widgetable: Besties & CouplesI love wigetable, although it could take the ads away for EVERY SINGLE THING. I'm only going to put 1 mood in my mood jar and then put in my sleep score! then, before I can put in my sleep score, I EXIT WIGETABLE, so I have to watch the ad again . Of course it 2 ads this time, and finally, I can put my sleep score in! that's the only problem so far. Otherwise, good app! 👍
It was nice, a good way to track how my days have been going and the pets are nice, but the way ads are being shoved in your face is overbearing. I'm not sure if there's certain conditions but it'd be nice to go back to sending my pets to bed without having to take a while to watch ads, being how having multiple pets leads to WAY too much time being spent on those dumb ads.
This game is very cute and fun to share with friends. I love taking care of dumb little creatures and staring at their joy. Though I have some complaints, including the amount of ads you have to watch in order to stock up on food or supplies. I also wish you could at least pet your pet or play games with it to earn coins for things. I also wish you could give your pets little hats🥺 The game works well though, just a bit boring at some points. I still enjoy the game and I might be asking a lot❀
Love this app, it's amazing, but I do have some problems. 1) You're only allowed to have added five friends, which I think is just a very small number. I'd like to be able to add two or three more friends on top of that. 2) This app used to have the normal 30 seconds or less ads like a normal app, but now they're combining two whole 30 second ads together for one reward, which is dumb. I understand the creators have to make money, but I should not have to watch a 60 second ad.
the ads are unreasonable, it's genuinely ridiculous. It the app is more ads then anything else. Don't download it and let the cute characters be used to guilt trip you into watching ads (which gives the creators money) or into buying premium. It is genuinely so tiring with the sheer amount of advertisements and it will be like you only downloaded it to get more ads in your life. Other than that, the pets are cute and it's nice to take care of them, the "miss you" button is unique.
it's a really good app if you're long distance, you can have it with Best friends or partners too. I would give it a 5 stars but I have 3 pets with my bf and they are literally living off one energy bar and are barely alive. I don't mind watching ads and getting items but after a certain point (like 3 ads) I have to pay for coins or pay to get diamonds which I don't want to do, I can't spend money like that. otherwise everything else about this app is perfect for long distance ♥️
It's a nice app and all. The one thing I don't really like about the whole taking care of your pet is that sometimes it asks for things you don't have and the only way to get more of the items is to watch ads. I think a way better way to do with would to maybe play mini games that would reward you with a currency to buy food and whatnot. What I also don't like is how your pet asks for items that you can only get by buying pro, which kinda ruins it for me :/ In the end I like the concept of this
edit: Wish there was the ability to add moods and bubbles to the previous 24hr when we forgot to log. The app has great momentum and potential however they need to adjust more things to make it great. Purchased the yearly membership (great deal) yet only has space for 10 emotions and 5 of them are set in stone except for color. The pets should have the ability to be dressed and more options for background (room).
the app is fun the first day of playing it but after that it's just repetitive. if I wanna take care of my pet, I have to watch an ad, if I wanna take care of my two fake plants I have to watch 8-10 ads. if I want to have cool wallpapers that were stolen from Pinterest, I have to pay for them. This game also nags me about forgetting to feed my pet every single hour like I don't have a life or have to go to school outside of my phone.
I want to love this app so bad, it's really cute and very interactive and perfect for long-distance friendships and relationships. However, the ads completely ruin the experience. You are bombarded with ads nonstop, and they're not short ads, mind you... the pet feature is broken. They give you 1 of each food, and if you don't want your pet to starve, you have to sit through VERY long ads, yes MULTIPLE. I've sat through 5 minutes of ads only for the app to not give me anything. Ridiculous.
it's a cool app to have with friends, but there's soo many ads and when you feed a pet you can only feed it once without having to watch another ad to get more food, you can only give a friend a reaction once, you have to get premium for a lot of stuff and I'm not paying for that. it's just a bit silly in my opinion.
it's been pretty good for a long while. some of the ads while you're loading in are annoying but they're not unexpected so I've gotten used to them. but now I'm having an issue where I can't get my plant widget to install on my home screen. I have tried 3 times and I just updated the app yesterday. I doubt I'll remember to check on my plant unless it's on my home screen or I'm checking on my pets. edit: 10-10-25 and still experiencing this issue 🤦🏻♀️
This app is so darn cute!! I love it so much! I already invited 3 of my friends, and we have 4 babies between us now. c: I'm a pro member, and it makes things so much more convenient and faster. It's definitely worth the price! My only complaint is how we get coins. I wish we didn't have to go through 3rd parties to get them. It makes it very frustrating when my only options for currency are to pay for them or go through some ridiculous external process to get them.
While I loved this idea and was excited to try it, it was impossible to feed my pet. I had options to watch tons of ads (and I mean tons because after 5 my pet was STILL hungry), buy a pack or buy a subscription. No thanks. I don't mind a couple of ads here and there but since the pet needs more than just food, I'm guessing tons of ads or money are required for EVERYTHING. Also, much of the things you can do are unavailable unless you pay. Shame. I was excited for this one.
No, no, and NO!!! The ads are outrageous, and if you run out of resources to care for you pet you either have to watch ads, buy diamonds/premium, or complete quizzes, play games, complete surveys, etc. to earn coins. Coins should be easily obtainable by like sending out your pet on adventures at the cost of energy to obtain coins. Overall it's not fun,,,,
This is a really good idea for an app! But the way they limit you is very frustrating. Everything requires an ad, and then they put ad limits on top of that. They really want you to put money into the app but there are aspects that could still be improved. I don't see me or my friends using it for too long because of the constant bombardment, but im sure they don't care since they already got their ad revenue out of us.
It is a fun app but it is irritating that either you have to earn coins in sponsor stuff or watch an ad. That or its basically trying to convince you into pro... even garden time is blocked off by an ad. While it is nice of a concept... I wish it didn't block the free parts with ads so much. like I get it getting more food and supplies make sense but sleep or walking the pet is also with ads? It's frustrating...
It's ok at first, but gets severely annoying at times because if an ad comes up for something you already have on your phone, it will automatically open it without any prompting. Fix this, and I'll up my review. It's very ridiculous and bothersome. Edit to add- It has gone from annoying sometimes to annoying constantly. Now it also opens the apps you don't have. It takes you to the play store automatically without any interaction.
It's definitely a nice way to have fun with far away friends. I like the co-parenting feature, and the widgets that let you see what each other is up to. The status one in particular is quite fun. However, the free to play experience is a little rough. You can't earn any coins without playing sponsored games (which I don't want to download and Ublock blocks the page), and so it leaves the only way to get items for your pet and plants through watching endless ads. It's becoming a bit frustrating.
