I’ve been using Windfinder Pro: Wind & Weather for a couple months now. It’s basically a super detailed weather app that tracks wind, waves, and tides for over 160,000 spots around the world. Pretty solid if you’re into kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, or any other outdoor sports that depend on the weather.
Here’s what you can do: you can check the wind and weather forecasts for specific locations, see real-time measurements from 21,000+ weather stations, and even get tide predictions. There’s also a cool feature called Superforecast that gives super accurate hourly forecasts for Europe, North America, and other regions. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you’re into outdoor sports that rely on the weather, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job of being a comprehensive weather tool for adventure sports. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my honest take on Windfinder Pro: Wind & Weather. I've tested a bunch of weather apps and this one's pretty much the best I've found for surfers, kiteboarders, and other outdoor enthusiasts. The level of detail is impressive - you get super accurate wind, wave, and tide forecasts that are essential for planning your sessions. And the real-time weather station data is also clutch. On the downside, the UI is a bit dated and takes some getting used to. And the free version has some annoying ads. But overall, if you're serious about your outdoor sports, this is a must-have app.
