I’ve been using Windfinder: Wind & Weather map for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you super detailed wind, weather, wave, and tide forecasts for anywhere in the world. Pretty solid if you’re into outdoor sports like kitesurfing, sailing, surfing, or even just hiking and cycling.
Here’s what you can do: You can check the animated wind map to see what the conditions are like globally or in your local area. And there’s also a ton of forecast data for over 160,000 locations – things like wind speed, direction, temperatures, precipitation, and more. It’s got a ton of info but it’s not too complicated to use.
Look, if you’re into planning your outdoor activities around the weather, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a great job of giving you all the weather details you need. Worth checking out for sure.
