Been using WingX® for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS-enabled moving map app with all sorts of cool aviation features. Pretty solid if you’re into flight planning and navigation.
Here’s what you can do: you can view VFR sectionals, IFR enroute charts, and more. And there’s also this awesome user-defined enroute transparency feature – really handy. And you can split the screen, change brightness, track your route, and more. Took me a while to figure some of it out but it’s all pretty useful.
Look, if you’re into aviation apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the $75 annual subscription is kinda steep – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a feature-rich flight planning tool.
