Nice idea, horrible execution. At least half the profiles are obviously spam. Yes I reported them, but it's just too many to keep having to do so. And what's left are largely empty profiles. The interest system also honestly sucks at this point because there's a set, limited list of options and you can't add anything original.
Says you can explore nearby but it doesn't work cause I have it set to 5 miles and am getting people across the country. Can't search/filter based on interests either. It forces you to verify but won't let you view verified only unless you pay. It makes you pick a "vibe" (friendly/flirty/spicy) but won't show you other people's or let you filter by it unless you pay.
It was ok with the app, like you could meet people easy but most of them were bots who were fake so I think if there was a way to maybe make it so you need either like a phone number or something to make a profile would help with all of the scam. Also it wouldn't let me delete my account so I just had to erase all that the app would let me erase and then delete the app with my account still on it so with both of those issues, that's why I'm giving 2 stars
I am very dissapointed in this app. First, everything was going great! But it glitches at times and I can't see messages. I always get logged out and I have to wait for a while for it to log me back in. My gems sometimes glitches and its annoying. Whenever I try to add someone, there is a error most of the time. I decided to delete my old account and make a new one. But literally it saves nothing, my info, my bday, and more. Its so annoying. I am dissapointed.
It's a neat app. I've met quite a few people on there. There's just one thing I wish you could do. And that's instead of having to search someone by their id, you could just look up the name and get some results and go through the results til you find the person. Imo, it would be easier if you like lose contact with a person bc you lost your old acc or something.
Before an update you can see everyone who sent you a friend request for a limited time which was a nice feature which many people liked. However with the new update now you have to pay to see who sent a request. But many people are shown around only 20 people upon joining. Then there are no more results. THIS MEANS SOME PEOPLE CAN NO LONGER USE THE APP AT ALL. (I could only add through requests sent to me but that feature is no longer an option, the app is currently UNUSABLE)
The app is decent when it works... The app worked fine when I first installed it and I remained logged in, but after it asked me to log in with a verification number sent to my phone, every code it sent me ended up saying "incorrect code". What good is a security/verification system if it doesn't work for your normal users? I reinstalled the app and get the same thing. Trying to log in using Google forces you to create a new account... No thanks, just skip this one.
I swiped about 20 people and thought I ran out of swipes for the day. No, I ran out of swipes forever (unless I pay money, of course.) When you add someone the app automatically sends a hello message so its not even the person talking to you. Everything else like the profile setup is okay, but there's other apps very similar which don't put up a permanent pay wall after just 20 people that likely uninstalled already anyways.
This app isn't great. After this last update, everything has been on the fritz. It asks me to sign in whenever I opened the app. It made my phone glitch and turned off my bluetooth. It also kicked me out a lot. I no longer get messages. Like at all. I also liked the feature that allowed you to look at the person's profile when they give you their snap. I would consider redownloading Wink if these problems are rectified.
Sucks that when i get a new phone and i get the more updated version of the app suddenly i can't login with my Snapchat like i was able to before and had to create a new account. To add on, after sometime I've been talking to one person on here and our conversation that we've had for some time had disappeared mid conversation and i can't even access it through their profile either. It's been about 2 weeks. We're lucky enough that we followed each other outside the app or else all was lost
