The good. I was able to use my points, something I haven't been able to do until now. Convenient at checkout since I didn't have to touch as much The bad. I still have to touch their displays and debit machine to finalize a purchase. All my payments are done through phone. Why can't I use that instead of touching their displays? there is no pricing on items you select for your grocery list.coupons are useful, I'd like to see prices of all items. downloaded to do a price check. Didn't work.

It's should keep you logged. It is very inconvenient when standing in the grocery store waiting for it to open only to find out it wants you to log in...that's at best, it may never open for days.
It's just extremely slow and it has nothing to do with internet speed or WiFi in general. I mean **** when I'm not connected to anything and I happen to open the app it logs me out, and even when I reconnect it keeps me logged out. Out of all the issues, it could stand to be faster if anything so I can at least get back to where I was faster.
They just updated the app and it is terrible. there are only three catagories to search the flyer and they are useless. I tried to search food and pet food. women's sanitary pads and other non-food items were included. you used to be able to search categories likr meat, deli, dairy etc. Also I put items in my wallet (used to be list) but when I looked in my wallet nothing was there, not even a selection for the groceries.
Still awful. You can get pennies worth of points by using your phone number at checkout, but if you want the more valuable mystery bonuses, you are forced to use this app.....that never works. WD rewards program just keeps getting worse. I remember getting free tanks of gas easily and often. Over time, rewards keep dwindling. The mystery bonuses were the only good thing left. And now they have made it nearly impossible to get one.
This is absolutely the worst app I've ever downloaded. It is laggy, buggy, and basically unusable. It doesn't load my points, freezes when I try to open the weekly ad, always encounters an issue when trying to add stuff to my shopping list, and regularly freezes for no reason. Note: I am using the most updated version and closing the app and reopening makes zero difference.
The app is still awful, almost a year after my previous review. It's just so slow to do things that other similar apps do quickly (adding an item to the list takes more than 5 or 6 seconds or more, which is ridiculous compared to other apps). It takes 7 or 8 seconds for search to work The other issue is not necessarily the app developer's fault, but the way they lay out the BOGO sale items is terrible. They group several of them together for some reason. Just list each BOGO item separately.
With every update this app becomes less and less useful. Now I can't clip items to my 'wallet' from the circular and I have to go through a list that consists of the same type of items but doesn't include important things such a meats, beverages, deli specials, etc. that are on sale. As a busy Mom I depended on my 'list' to help me remember what I needed to purchase. I am so very disappointed in the lack of ease and features this app has compared to what it used to and other grocery store apps.
Really slow app. You can't even search for items because pressing the icon does nothing. The other icons at the top of the app will work if you tap them, although they work very slow. But at least they work. I'd like to be able to look up products on the app since every other grocery app can do that but for some reason it's impossible on this app. Really frustrating. And the app itself is incredibly slow. Lags constantly or will just jump around if you try to have it do multiple things
5/26/23 Update: For the past several weeks it's showing that I have 0 points. Fix the app!! It's really annoying! Probably the worst app I've ever used. All of the coupons are missing. I just activated a points multiplier and now it says I don't have any multipliers. One minute it says I have no points and the next minute it says I do have points. It's ridiculous. And I know I'm not the only one with these app issues after reading the reviews. FIX THE APP!!
This app is completely useless. Every time I open it, it never lets me click on anything, specially the search bar. I haven't been able to search anything. Some products lack pictures. Just a complete mess all around. Truly impossible to navigate smoothly. And when you're in store, trying to find the best deals etc this is particularly frustrating.
I feel like I constantly have to relog back in, and when you search the clip coupons by type, they are not separated correctly. Like there are multiple dry or refrigerator items listed as frozen in the frozen listing. While this just means you have to scroll through all of them, it also means it's going to take longer to find what you're looking for. I would love to see an option to scan and shop as well. My specific, Winn Dixie, doesn't always have a lot of registers open.
all I wanted to do was shop for some items at my local store, the app would of let me do that, it requires. endless verification procedures and after 20 frustrating minutes,I was still unable to even look for the items I wished to purchase! I wish the app was more people friendly, I am invalid and have to send someone to pickup items for me but that is impossible with this version of the app!
I've had this app for a while now, and it's saved me so much money! The digital coupons and points multipliers are great! It has been glitching recently, where every time you clip a coupon, it sends you back to the beginning of the coupons...that's getting annoying. Overall, I tell everyone to download it.
The app needs a better way to clip your coupons. There is no way to "clip all" or clip a group ( more than 1 at a time). The message "coupon added" stays on the screen for 5 seconds. You can't hit the next coupon until the message disappears. If you skip coupons (but add a coupon after skipping them), the app takes you back to the 1st coupon. This is frustrating as I skip certain coupons. Now I clip all the coupons to avoid starting over & scrolling down to the coupon I want to add.
Love Winndixie Frustrated with the App! I hate that when clipping digital coupons on this app, it automatically takes you back to the top of the page instead of where you leave off, This is aggravating!!! My time is valuable and many times I get so aggravated I just go to another store app n do my shopping there. I Heavily rely on Coupons /Sales to make ends meet, however I am also at a point I'm only going to waste my time so far before I just seek out other stores n options! plz fix!!
I used to love this app and use it everytime I go to winn Dixie. however, since this last update, I find the app extremely annoying and aggravating to use. when I click on a coupon to clip it and have it saved for me to use later, I am automatically thrown to the very beginning of the list of coupons and to the very first sub group of 'All Coupons.' this is really annoying and aggravating since I will sometimes be nowhere near the top of the list of coupons for the sub group. please fix ASAP!
I love that the app shows rewards, weekly sales, and coupons. However, in the coupons section of the app, when you "clip" a coupon, it takes you all the way back to the top of the list. I manage it okay, but it's a little frustrating having to scroll through the coupons I've already looked at to find where I was in the list.
You guys FINALLY got the app fixed a couple of weeks ago so that every coupon selection didn't send you straight to the top of the list. Well, that was short-lived apparently, bc not only is that back but now you can't even quickly select at least a few coupons if you're fast. Now, you select a single coupon, and it freezes the screen until it shoots you back up. It's SO much faster to just use the web browser on my phone to do the coupons from the website. Kinda defeats the purpose.
They actually fixed the issue with the app logging us out constantly, yay! It also seems like the app is running smoother and faster all around, too, so I've bumped up my review accordingly. The real test will be using it in-store like normal and accessing the rewards barcode in the checkout line without having to wait for 2 minutes for it to do something.
