It took me a while to get a $10 Amazon gift card because I had to remember to bring my phone (can't do it on the Samsung watch) to walk. But it works and they gave me the gift card code immediately! Not waiting at all! Much better than some other apps! Also lots of gift card choices ! I just wish I can use my watch to count the steps too. And more games that I don't have to download to collect points!
Reviews for Winwalk Step Tracker & Rewards
← Back to Winwalk Step Tracker & RewardsHonestly one of the best apps I've tried to passively make money: it's reliable, no money needs to be put into the app, I can forget about it during the day and still earn (as long as I remember by midnight but you can set up notifications), and it's a slow and steady progress. Only downside is that even with 10k+ steps daily, it'll still take a while to earn enough for a gift card but other than that, I love it.
App is very well thought out & works decently. Have been using for years, with several payouts. Have only had 1 major tech issues & they resolved. Only thing that could use work is that they only have gift cards available at certain times. I am aware that this is because they only get a certain amount at a time. I was just stating that this is the only drawback the app has.
I have been using this app for at least one year now. The points earning just through walking alone is very slow. You can only get a max of 100 points that way, and it takes around 1600 points to redeem your first reward. However, the alternate methods of earning points through watching videos, playing games, and taking surveys can add up rather quickly. Still relatively slow, but binging a new game from this app for 4 hours can earn you anywhere from 400 to 1200 points.
It takes a really long time to collect coins, and the surveys don't really work if you're under the age of 18, so the only real way to make any progress is to play the game offers. I'm taking one star off because the system of collecting coins at the end of the day is annoying for forgetful folks. The app fails as a motivator for walking though, as it only rewards you for up to 10,000 steps per day. Otherwise it works well. I just got a Spotify gift card and I'm really happy.
It's pretty good, many are complaining about the coins and pricing, but forget this is a free service paying them for no money in return. It's fairly easy to get coins and due to me going back to school I find it easy as pie to use with a costumizable background, icon, and name along with pronouns which you can choose male or female, or you can simply leave them blank, same with height and weight. It also allows you to choose your language and weather to track distance in miles or kilometers!
I just got this app, but already I can tell you that the icons need to be larger for my phone. It takes several attempts to go to any screen, for example trying to get to the ads or settings. It'd be nice if it didn't take 16000 coins for a $10 gift card, but I also understand this is free. So there's a trade off. It's more of a long haul reward system. UPDATE: You can swipe left and right, which helps, but I still have trouble accessing the settings gear icon which is too small for my fingers.
I personally would give it five stars, the app is easy to use, the support team takes care of issues really quickly, and it's actually pretty easy to earn coins. The only thing I'm not so happy about is that ever since the exchange for Google play gift cards have been out of stock, and somehow now the option has even been removed, I mean.. I understand the Google play gift cards are quite popular, and it's normally out of stock, but I think removing the option straight on is a bit much.
It's easy to use. Very user-friendly. I just feel like it doesn't give enough for how much I walk, but I haven't been using it very long. So that's still being decided. I wish it connected to Samsung Health, so I could, if needed, leave my phone on the charger, or when I'm at work, sometimes I leave my phone on my desk and I walk a lot at work. My samsung watch gets my steps, but that doesn't translate to GoogleFit.
It is really easy to earn points, and there are a range of gift cards to choose from when you use the points. However, points take really long to accumulate enough to redeem, though this is understandable for a walking app. Additionally, it repeatedly forces you to update, which can be very inconvenient.
its a ok app but it has lots of videos you have to watch. And i forgot to collect my coins one day the app wouldn't let me do it the next day. so im not sure if ill continue to use it. I can deal with the constant videos. but getting the coins lost just for forgetting to collect them is kinda a rip off. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at this point. maybe if this was fixed i would.
Love the app! My only complaint is that you have to physically check into the app by a certain time to save any coins earned for the day. If not, you loose all coins earned for that day. Otherwise, it's pretty simple to use. I haven't earned enough yet to cash in, but I'll get there eventually if I could remember to check in🤭
Been using this app for months now. You earn points for your steps, watching ads, playing games and taking surveys. You'll earn more points faster taking surveys though. Can sync your Google Fit or use the phone's tracking. You will have to claim your coins/points before the end of the day. Rewards in the form of gift cards and can be redeemed immediately or take up to 3 days. I've never had a problem redeeming unlike other apps.
I mainly use this app to track my steps, and not as much to earn rewards. It tracks my steps fairly well, and even tells me how I do weekly, and what my all time best was. As for rewards, getting coins is tricky. You can do quizzes for coins to get rewards, but it can take a long time and you may not even qualify. Overall, I like this app for the step tracking over getting rewards.
I like this app. The gift card options are great. I haven't made enough to cash out, but I'm hopeful because points seem to not expire. points you get to keep is very encouraging. I'd like to see more than survey options for earning points, though. I click one and never get to finish be auar it takes me to windows that start me all over. Maybe a long with watching video add more and also daily check-ins?
Prolly would do 4.5 stars if I could, but 5's still good. Yeah, you gotta walk a LOT to earn enough coins, but if you use the survey and/or game features, it goes by much faster. Since this summer's been too hot, I've been playing games, and I've gotten a good amount of coins! Just need to pick a game and consistently work towards a goal. I don't know why other reviews are so bad; it's certainly much better than other apps I tried! I'll update when I have enough to cash out.
I'm sure it's great. I've been using this app almost daily for almost a year. I go in and collect my 100 coins almost daily after sitting through the painfully long ads. I got to almost 13,000 coins for the 16,000 it takes for a gift card. A few days ago, the app suddenly stopped counting my steps. I tried all the steps to resolve the issue and still haven't gotten anywhere. Hopefully this gets fixed.
The reward is real. After more than a year walking, I redeemed a Nintendo gift card. It takes a long time but it works. One thing that was not so great were the problems detecting steps from third party apps, like Samsung health and Google, which record steps in a much more precise way. When trying this, the step counter was restarted in the middle of the day, which was super annoying. Switched to detecting steps from phone sensors and it works, but the step number is lower, I hope they fix it
🏃🏽♀️First, I appreciate this app's ability to track my steps, & it's mostly reliable. Even when the phone is off. You can sync the app with Google Fit for better accuracy. You can earn gift cards for reaching step goals. However, there are some improvements I'd suggest before continuing to use this app. 1. A better selection as far as more expensive gift cards that we can work towards. 2. I had issues with step tracking if I had a low battery. 3. The app drained my phones battery faster.
This app is so great! It even tracks your steps when your phone is off or doing something else (with given permission of course). And you know it's real because of how many steps you need for the gift cards! I just wish there were more expensive gift cards to work towards also and have it track your steps even with low battery. But other than that, this app is amazing!
