New to this app. Having a hard time getting in without giving up a lot of info.
Reviews for WISEcode: Decode your Food
← Back to WISEcode: Decode your FoodThe results of the first product I scanned were incorrect. Stauffer's Ginger Snaps
I scanned my entire pantry, only one response, on rice a roni. This app doesn't have a large data base. I thought for sure stove top dressing would be here.
Great app! I use it when shopping. It's so helpful. I can easily decide what to buy/not buy.
l was looking kind of forward to this app but I scanned something that I thought would have been obviously bad. chef boy Rd beefaroni- good quality it says giving a thumbs up for artificial colors. and preservatives. maybe this app is defective or someone mixed up its ingredients.. perhaps this app is tune you. I think I'll try again in a year
A good app to use. For the past couple of days, I have seen some best brands of food that I didn't realize it was destroying me.
you can't even distinguish an aspirin bottle when I put up the code you say no product found you should be able to link to every store around the world everything should be connected to the internet you should know whether it's good or bad you only get one product out of everything that was my Amazon product
I like but wouldn't scan sometimes and all of great value items scored very high.
Took several photos and now it's not working properly. It only has a scan option which doesn't do anything
just download Fooducate. been around for years and is great. Also anyone else see the ad and get Randy from trailer Park boys vibes from that guy? 🤣 edit: ok I'm going to have to give this app another shot after that developer response lol. I dig it
I wish you could comment on the scanned food for example: I scanned uncured bacon and it got a high rating, even though it contains unregulated celery juice, which is used instead of nitrates, nitrates are regulated as to how much can be used, unlike the celery juice or cherry juice. All of which are carcinogens. Also, they don't mention when an ingredient is a GMO or bioengineered ingredient.
Their database is not big. I scanned 15 items and it only found 1. Also, scanning barcodes is difficult. I have to try several times.
I like that it tells you what is good, bad and in between. Id like to see a future feature where it suggests good or better replacement choices for items the user scans that come back bad.
not bad, good for what it is. if it had custom dietary need settings I would rate higher. people around me have uncommon allergies and we have a hard time finding things sometimes. I was hoping this could help.
I've safety is a very good app.It helps a lot in situations where you need to watch what you're eating and want to know what's in what you're eating.
tried a bunch of random groceries products in home from aldis and stuff. only noticed 1 or 2 of them, keept asking me to take photos to update them. pointless if only scans big name products ubalready know is bad for you. better off just scanning ingredients with a chat gtp type app.
I have a Grandson and I want to know that what I give him to consume is not poison. His body and brain is developing and I want to give him only the best food ingredients that I can. Especially with food costs what they are. When paying high prices, it's easier to digest the fact that I am paying for essential ingredients to actually benefit my 2 year old Grandsons developing brain. Thank you WISEcode!
I was really excited about this app because I found it through a YouTube app and I'm huge on my health and the things I consume. As a vegan, I be wanting to make sure these alternative foods are safe to eat but the scan doesn't even do anything. I thought it was my phone's camera at first but it wasn't. nothing happened and I wasn't able to utilize the app at all. super disappointed but I'm glad others seems to enjoy the app as I hope to.
You'll have two options to open an account. Might as well skip the first option, because it doesn't do anything. You'll just have to use the watchful eye if the Google. Oh! And the app doesn't actually do anything. I mean... anything. It opened up the camera app on my phone and put a nifty little reticle guide on the screen to make it look like it's supposed to do something... then just...yep... that's it. The scan button doesn't, y'know - SCAN anything. Don't bother.
wonderful app, just need a few tweaks to its front end and back end. I dont use google for my logins so I have to login and open my email every time I open the app. The back end is negotiable. I understand youre building a catalog but it was missing a lot of stuff from Lowe's foods
